Is there any more to mind than the brain? Does experience shape the way our brain develops? When we learn something new is our brain physically altered?
AIDS: Evolution of an Epidemic
Can AIDS be cured? Why has it been so hard to develop a vaccine against HIV? How are new medicines revolutionizing AIDS treatment?
Evolution: Fossils, Genes, and Mousetraps
Leading evolution educator Ken Miller discusses the controversy surrounding the teaching of evolution, presents compelling evidence for evolution and reasons why "intelligent design" is not scientific.
Potent Biology: Stem Cells, Cloning, and Regeneration
What are embryonic stem cells? Why are they potent? How do they differ from adult stem cells? Are embryonic development and regeneration intimately connected?
Evolution: Constant Change and Common Threads
How has the amazing diversity of plants and animals evolved? What can fossils, butterflies, and stickleback fish tell us about the deep common ancestry of all living forms?
Science of Fat
Scientists are unraveling the mechanisms that dictate how the brain and body regulate weight.
Learning from Patients: The Science of Medicine

Well if you read down to the bottom of the description it states:
"Presented at the 1995 Holiday Lectures on Science. Lecture time approx. 240 min. "
So a minimum of 14 years.
The default sort for me was by date starting with 2008.

thanks!

Well, if they're talking about the functions of RNA besides gene transcription, many weren't really even known til 1998. May be interesting to watch the DVDs just to see what the field was like before it got taken over by RNAi and other small RNAs.

I remember these CD's being offered years ago on other freebie sites. I ordered some & they sent me a survey card in the mail after I received them & I got 2 free dark blue t-shirts. Still have them, even though they are old. I think they stopped offering t-shirts right after that.
