What are you going to play? It depends. RAM, Processor and card are sufficient, but it's not assembling one to buy a cheaper prebuilt rig and upgrade the RAM.

I'd like to play CoD4, Madden, Nba 2k, Crysis all on max setting. Is there any way to check what is the power setting on this (750w?)?

Here it is. i just customized it to add the Radeon 4850.

Not too bad i guess. gonna also add a 15% Bing cash back code.

Hello,

usually the most important things are graphic card, processor speed and memory. The specifications of your computer are great, maybe you will find something better in processor and graphic card in a few months but it's fine for the videogames you want to play.

Actually I have a computer with Intel Core duo processor, 2,26 GHZ, 4 GB Ram but my graphic card is not so good.

It'll be fine for gaming at resolution under 1080p. The 4850 was never meant to be a 1080p resolution card. That's not to say that you won't get good performance at 1080p but it will struggle. With Crysis, you'll probably get 25-30 FPS at 1680x1050 with everything cranked to high and no AA.

and you won't max crysis with that machine, no matter what video card you stick in there.

Look at how much they are charging you to up the video card.

Get the base configuration video card.

Then buy a 4890, which is a lot more powerful, for less money than that 4850. Or better yet, stick with the lower video card for now and then buy an ATI 5000 series DirectX 11 card when they are launched.

But if you want a fast video card now, then get the base model in your computer and order the 4890. You will have more than enough performance.

That's for the suggestion about getting the 4890. this pc has 460w power supply, will that be enough for the 4890?

Yes, you can play all those fine. However, Crysis will run on High only because its a monster to play, well, I suppose you could try to max it.

the 4850 is a good card but won't run crysis on max settings

with 20% cash back from bing and superwiz , 10% bing cash back with newegg

i would just build one..

if you do mostly gaming.. maybe a phenom II x4 would be better suited for you.

i suggest a 955BE (965 just came out thought so expect prices to drop) and a 4890 but the choice is up to you.

Well guys, after much deliberation i decided to go with the 4850. its not the best but i hope it at least has the same graphics as an xbox on a HDTV

Yes. You'll be gaming at a resolution magnitudes better than what the current HD consoles are capable of.
