I have a Wii, and I'm all sorts of grown up. I also have a ps3, 2 360s, spare laptops, and enough parts to build multiple spare desktops. They're pretty much all there for guests to play when they come over to hang out at the house I own, as I rarely get to play them myself. This is entirely a consequence of my full time employment in one of the larges biomedical organizations in the world and my continuing education at a local medical school.

There's nothing childish about having a Wii, and it's hell of a lot more fun at parties (with normal people instead of just teenage gamer boys) than a ps3 or 360. The first thing I offer for entertainment is either Wii, or Rockband (on 360) because even if people have never played a game in their lives, both of these options are easily accessible to everyone. But just in case, I also keep a few hundred dvds, plus more movies on a pc hooked to the tv/stereo, and a pile of card and board games.

A good host has something for everybody.
