Man, is it just me or are there a lot more threadcrappers here than normal?

This sucks because just cause someone craps a thread doesn't mean that the deal is not valid.
Are there any rules about what consitutes threadcrapping and makes it a moddable offence?

If the person is saying "this deal sucks" or something like that without any explanation of why it sucks, then that is considered TC. If they have a decent legitimate explanation on why it sucks, then that is not.

It's always a problem here.

A lot of idiots pretty much only threadcrap. Frequently, because they're too stupid to know what the product is, or it's something they have no interest in.

Makes the threads a lot harder to go through, looking for helpful information....

A while back we started ganging up on the TC'ers.... it did seem to help.

This is why some want to get rid of the thumbs up/thumbs down ratings. Because you get a lot of threadcrapping newbs who don't help whatsoever around here and think their opinions matter, crapping all over people's deals. I say newbs shouldn't be able to post.:D

If you think a post is thread crapping, please use the modalert feature and bring it to our attention. It is impossible for the mods on this site to read every forum post, and we do rely on the modalert feature to help us do our jobs.

The thing that sucks is when you get a good deal posted for a big ticket item the threadcrappers come in and criticize the heck out of it, but if you post little garbage items you get repped up the wazoo.

I feel like just bumping my favorite posts until people hate me.
