User Research Studies at Amazon.com (FAQ)
What will I be asked to do? During study sessions, we ask customers to come in to our offices in Seattle and use our website for a while, often asking participants to look at new features were developing for Amazon.com, and tell us what they think.

When are the sessions? We conduct user research study sessions on an on-going basis and each session usually takes an hour or two. Sessions are scheduled throughout the day, and we can most likely make an appointment that is convenient for you.

What will I get in return? Our studies are easy and fun, and to thank you for your time and feedback, we will give you an Amazon.com gift certificate (typically $50 to $100). The gift certificates are transferable. You may use the gift certificate yourself, give it as a gift, or donate it to your favorite club or charity.

If you would like to participate in one of our user research study sessions, please fill out the User Research Sign-Up Form. Your answers allow us to get to know a bit more about you and help us make sure we invite you to the appropriate type of study session. Amazon sure comes in handy! Like the time I ripped the bra on my husbands camaro, I ordered another one from Amazon, had in in two days, put it on and he never did find out!!

if you have to go all the way to seattle for this, then it might not be worth it. what's a round trip plane ticket cost? Don't you lose more money than this 50-100 check?
