I just got the confirmation email for this. I am a lil confused- attached is a homework assignment to do and it says it will pay $25. Is this money an addition to the $75 board we are doing? Anyone that got in also get this email?

i'm equally confused about the payment and i just left a voicemail and sent an email to try to get clarification. plus, when i was recruited they told me i was in the online study 9/14-16 on deodorant and the email says i am in the online study 9/10-12 on shampoo. weird...i'll keep you posted

Yes- its very confusing! I emailed back too about payment an the assignment- everyone post if you get an answer. Also they first say the 9th in email they are calling but then it says the 10th. Is the time they are calling EST?

Mines for deodarent- an it says use any brand but Sure- nothing about receipt or anything...all it says is use for 4 days- not even about buying a different brand to use. Very confusing! I was just going to use a different brand I already have in my house- now I dont know if I am supposed to go out an buy it an save receipt. Did they give you address to send receipt? LOL- they really messed this up- very vague instructions!

Yeah, it is vague, but that's what I got from reply when I asked for more details, can't confirm though, that susan person doesn't really help giving detailed explanations.

I just spoke to them on the phone and they apologised about the vagueness of it all. She said the whole study would be $100. The $25 is for going out and buying a new deodarent that is not the brand "Sure". She also said there is no kick off call as written in the email- very strange. She said we should be getting an email today or tomorrow with more instructions.

OK- I got my log in email today- it starts the 14th. On the 10th they gave me a 1-800 number to call into to talk to the moderator.
I noticed the log in instructions come from 20/20- I wonder who actually pays us, focus point or 20/20?

i finally spoke with judy at focus point and got it all straightened out as well. i am in the group this week regarding shampoo. i asked her how long it would take to receive payment and she said that after both the shampoo & deodorant studies are done (next week) the company hosting the study (20/20) would send out all the checks... this was one disorganized study!

i left these people a message forever ago and of course i never got a call back. wonder if it has anything to do with me apparently sounding like a preteen on the phone. or at least that's what they say every time i call to order a pizza. they want to talk to my mom when i try to pay over the phone. i tell them that might be kinda hard since i'm 31 and don't even live in the same state as my mom. sigh. :lmao:

When I finally got the new number- the right one- the call is all messed up and cutting out. She said to forget about it an just do the board on monday- LOL!

Kind of a messy start to our study - sorry for the confusion about the conference line number first of all, and then the horrible connection! Good grief! The rest of the process will go much smoother, I assure you!



The purpose of the call was to introduce myself and have you connect me with “a voice, and to connect each of you. I wanted to answer any questions you have about the board - but all instructions are covered in the first page you see when you log on to QualSpace.



So, if you would, read the instructions you've received from 20/20 carefully - and then check in on Monday morning to respond to your first set of questions.



We're really not at any disadvantage here - the call was just to get to know each other a little bit - and we'll do that lots next week!
