Sorry if this is considered a repost, but the only thing I could find was buried in a giant CVS thread. This was a good enough deal for me that I feel like everyone else should know about it.

I scanned my CVS card at the store tonight and it printed out a $5 off coupon for Duracell rechargeable batteries. I scrounged up a $2 off coupon for Duracell rechargeable that I found in the P&G flier from early August (2nd, I think). It expired on 8/31, but my CVS took it anyway.

A 4 pack of the pre-charged Duracells (re-badged Eneloops) is $14.99 @ my CVS. I figured $7 off was a good enough deal to buy a pack. HOWEVER, after I paid it spit out a $5 ECB coupon, effectively making the pack $3. I was suprised, but apparently this month CVS is offering $5 ECB on $15 Duracell purchases. :D

So how does $14.99 rechargeable purchase qualify as $15.00?

Or have you possibly purchased other Duracell to put you over $15?

Or was the $5 ECB related to something else since you said "apparently" as if you are unsure?

To be honest with you, I don't really know. On the bottom of my receipt it says:
Duracell, Spend 15 Get 5 EB
Amount toward this reward 14.99
Amount Needed to Earn Reward .01

But right under that, the 5 ECB coupon printed. Across the top of it says:
Here are your Extra Bucks for having purchased Duracell

Beats the heck outta me, but I'm not complaining. I'd post a picture of my receipt if I knew how to do it.

Yeah, they were the white tops. Took another $2 coupon in last night and bought another 4 pack. Got another 5 ECB coupon back when I paid :D

Now my receipt says 29.98 paid, .02 left to go. I wonder how many times I can use this before it won't work anymore?
