View Full Version : How many surveys do YOU get? ;)

In 6 weeks - from July 15th - August 31st -- I received *591* email survey invites!!

A whole bunch of those of course I DNQ for, and a ton were sweepstakes only that I may or may not have done, just depending. But still.. thought that was interesting to see. I Just started moving them all to a folder in my inbox so if I needed to reference back to one, I would have it. I had NO IDEA I would have that many... would make it pretty hard to go back to find one I needed, unless I knew the company and/or approximate date.

Anyways, anyone else know how many survey emails they get?

Just thought this might be a fun thread!

In th course of a week I have gotten over 300 in the course of a month over 900, lots I DQ on others I get in. I belong to well over 900 survey companies. Some pay big bucks.

Not as many as I used to get - hardly any from GTM anymore and even SS is down. I have no idea how many I actually do get. Lots of DQ's and sweeps I don't do (unless it's for 5 min. - meaning screener for something good).

i only do surveys if the payout is $1 = 7min, ie $3 for 20, but not $25
;)

i dont count them nor i count whether the credited unless over $20 :)

Well today is not my day, missed a $100 one today because of my occupation (last question) and then another $100 today that I am on a waiting list, I hate being SO close, especially with the high paying ones :(

yeah...I agree... I kinda got caught up in the PT thing for a while but I even got picky about that when I have to try and report with no pay? ehh..some of the times the stuff really sucks and then I have a 15 to 20 min report to fill for nothing. But I do sometimes throw in a sweeps or $2.00 one just to keep my accounts alive but I do basically stick to my guns:hug: I wouldn't say this for the newbies though. I really suggest that you feel it out for yourself on this.... It has taken most of us years to get our footing and I really don't see many shortcuts. Lying is out for me ...I do know which ones to just delete as soon as they come in my spam... I also have learned what I like and what companies I don't but Others love the same companies I don't so ..who knows for sure? Good Luck all..

I have been pretty fortunate within the past several months to had been selected for several decent paying online focus groups and I hope it will continue as the extra money really helps out in this economy.

I agree....for some reason I also have gone to the top rungs on certain companies BUT
we have been at it for a while. I really do think that these folks have a filtering system that puts us in those honored ranks....we have maybe been going thru the files for so long that we have become a trusted source ....maybe our longevity has proven we are not just out for a buck and are serious about what we do. All I really know is that the fruit has only come to vine for me ( and not that often) after years of doing this. I would never be able to make a living ( plus like I said I don't lie to get in) but it is comfortable to get the forums and I am grateful

Well said patrossi2004! I totally agree with your statements and I know in my case it just has been the timing and sheer luck lately to be offered these projects. This is something I could not just rely on as the only source of income but the extra money surely doesn't hurt.

I'm only doing opinion outpost regularly and survey spot if I know there is a good one floating around, Occasionally I get HCD and I've gotten a handful of Study Response ones too.

There are a few others that are so sporadic that I often forget about them until a survey randomly pops up in the inbox. Having bad luck last night though, got one for 500 points from Jane Harding and it was a pretty good PT. Got through a pretty lengthy questionnaire (not like the 5 minute ones on SS!) It said I was accepted for the PT and what it was, when they'd send and then on the last page where they ask for your address it said quota filled. What a bunch of BS!

Then I did two opinion outpost surveys last night and they both had error issues at the end, one when it went to credit at OO and the other said the survey site was offline for maintenance when I hit submit at the end. So they are both in my available survey list. One I can't access again and the other wants me to start all over. Ugh.

OMG! the same thing happened to me when I tried today! Kind of frustrating.... well I can't try it again because I tried to go back into it and it said I had already completed the survey.

I've been doing this for several years and didn't even know there were 900 survey companies.

Is there anyway you can give us a list? I know everyone would appreciate it.:worship:

Here is a list from here:
List of Colleges that pay for surveys (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=569149&t=1294481&highlight=List+of+surveys)

And another list from here:
Surveys (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=569149&t=464715&highlight=List+of+survey)

And this one is a site I have had bookmarked for a long time. Scroll down for the list
Surveys (http://askville.amazon.com/find-survey-sites-pay-cash-gift-certificates/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=631770)

These are all older postings so can't say how "accurate" they are. HTH :)

What are everyone's favorite survey referral programs? Who do you think does the best ones? I did have a friend join saynation through me last month. I was rewarded 1000 points I think.

It seems that the number I get is way down. I think that so many additional people have started doing surveys recently due to the economy that the survey invites are spread around thinner.

I also and finding that it seem harder and harder to qualify. I feel sometimes that I spend almost as much time qualifying and choosing which surveys to do from my invites as I do taking them. I have also noticed that surveys for sweepstakes entries seem to be popping up more and more. I will NOT do surveys for sweepstakes entries. It is all cyclical, hopefully things will go in the other direction later down the road.
