We are in touch with you because you have been a participant in previous studies and indicated that you would like to be contacted again if there were other opportunities to participate.

Lisa Keeping at the Wilfrid Laurier University and Jeffrey Spence at the University of Waterloo are looking for participants to take part in a study on the relation between daily thoughts and behaviours. As a participant, you will be asked to complete two short surveys for 5 consecutive days (taking approximately 2 minutes each to complete). Additionally, you will be asked to complete surveys at three separate times: once at the beginning of the study and twice at the end of the study (each of these will take approximately 10 minutes to complete).

In return for participation, you will receive $2 per day for daily surveys you complete, $5 for completing the surveys at the beginning and end of the study. That is, you will receive $15 for completing the entire study.

I'm looking on the University website right now and I'm not seeing it. I'll keep looking and update if I find it. I can't remember if they actually have a place to register or if I just signed up with the links when they were doing the work study that posted here awhile back and open to all.

ive done surveys for this company before usually they allow you to refer a co-worker and they get 10 bucks

last time i had to ask for the link to the survey this time too. still waiting.

I think they will send it out pretty easily because it's just a pre screener that they sent me but from what it asked it looks like if you qualified for the work one, you'll qualify for this too. I'd have linked the screener but it needs that 4 digit code they give you.

If I knew how to get my SD friends in, I would definitely post. Not sure how I originally joined

last time i got canadian check but they said this time i would get american check. (more bang for my buck)

Got my first today as well. I'm a little confused about the payment, it says $15 for all but then it says $5 for the first and last and $2 a day for the daily ones which total 5 (2 a day for 5 days) Seems like we should get $20 but no biggie, I'll happily take the $15.

I have emailed one of the contacts and learned that only those who have done previous surveys for them can participate in this study. So if you haven't received the invitation email for participation, you won't be able to participate.

did start of survey yesterday.

The first daily morning survey came and it's only accessible until 12 noon so make sure you do it soon! Doesn't say if it's east or west coast time but it must be west coast because it's 9 am already here (west coast) and it was only sent an hour ago.

I think they were both supposed to be done. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Oh well though I think it's only a buck or 2 off the payment but i'm not sure.

I also emailed them and they said to go ahead and complete the afternoon one and the ones in the morning and afternoon the following days. Actually I looking and below is that the told me.

"You can still complete the afternoon survey; you are not disqualified. You can also complete the morning surveys for the rest of the week as long as the morning survey is completed before 1pm EST."

they charge fees and also a conversion to USD needs to be selected by the paying party. So if you put 15 and do not select USD then the amount changes.

No problems here and the amount was added to my personal account immediately upon deposite.:cool:

how did you select conversion to usd by chance?

They usually take at least a week or two from the end of the study to pay, occasionally longer.

Why are you yelling, caps are so rude lol.. The first time I did a survey with them 2 years ago I did receive a Canadian check but Emailed him and He sent me cash instead, was very very nice about it.. Most surveys now are either check ( American ) or paypal..They are a legit company, if you had a question regarding your check you should have contacted them..

Btw I received my $15 paypal today also..

I use paypal. The paypal will deduct $0.85 from $15 because of payment from Canda. They are so greedy!!!!

I didn't know what's wrong with my paypal account. My account is the personal account. I called paypal and they gave me the following reason: "Fees for receiving payments from buyers outside the United States" it is " 3.9%+$0.3" because the payment is from Canada user. lol...

Another colleague is doing the payment this time and he didn't realize the "purchase" and "gift" differences until half way through. I apologize for that and we would like to compensate for your loss. There are two ways we can do that: if you haven't accepted the payment yet, you can cancel it and then we can pay you again in the right way (i.e., as a gift); if you did accept the money, then please let us know how much you lost and we can send that amount of money along to your account.

I never received a heads up prior to the first morning survey, so I missed the first day. I think I missed one other. I received less than $15, but I'm ok with what I received.

They got back to me and said the payment wasn't being received by my paypal. So I I went and looked and lo and behold my email wasn't on the paypal account which is really weird because I've only ever done studies for them through that email and have been paid before through it. So weird! Paypal must have took the email off on accident or maybe I accidentally deleted it,
