View Full Version : List of survey sites and focus groups link

Stupified
09-19-2009, 10:27 AM
I am not sure why this link was over in Deal Talk thread. It is a great list of focus group sites and survey sites in alphabetical order. It has been archived here on slickdeals. The OP put a lot of work into it. She has passed away this month. I know there is another list on the surveys section by another poster, but I think this one has more on it. I wish a mod could sticky this link over here as it would be very useful. Here is link.

Wow what a list and am I glad I stumbled upon this thread.

Can anybody speak to their experience with either of these sites?

http://www.Epinions.com

A few individuals in the cube next to me at work mentioned these as paying sites. Do you have to have a PayPal account for Epinions.com?

Thanks for the help and again the wonderful list of links.

I remember some of the names from doing paid surveys almost half a decade ago, so are all the links listed in the Wiki paid focus groups and survey sites?

There's a bunch over here too.

I didn't check to see if they're all on the list, so there are probably a couple of repeats.

You can find signup links via google, but this panel kind of sucks. It's easy to rack up $30 to $40 a month in rewards, but it's not real cash. You can only trade it in for prizes that they claim are valued at that amount...and all of the prizes are CRAP. The only only GC available is for Borders Books and you can only cash in $15 to Borders each year, then you need to use the credit within a month of earning it. EVERY other incentive e-rewards offers is total crap.

I'll need to research this. It may be a way to actually cash out of e-rewards for real money. Upromise is not *easy* to withdraw from, but you can do it at any time with written notice. If there's a way I can direct all of my e-rewards earnings to Upromise, I'll be a happy camper.

■$30 in e-Rewards Currency = $5 for college
■$60 in e-Rewards Currency = $20 for college
■$120 in e-Rewards Currency = $50 for college

Sucks, but better than nothing at all.

Upromise can be cashed out at any time and doesn't need to be used to college. They don't readily advertise this fact. It's a pain in the butt, because you need to send a written request to cash out, but you can do it at any time.

If you have been answering the applications/forms honestly and still not getting accepted... there really is nothing anyone can do to help you, you simply aren't part of the demographic they are currently seeking. Just keep answering honestly and applying to as many as you can, you will eventually meet the requirements for at least one company and get accepted. Do not lie when applying, that ruins it for everyone. Do not think of survey/focus group/BB rewards as "free" or "easy" money, continually participating takes mindfulness and effort. Good luck.

I still see it referenced from time to time, so people must still use it. I did notice, however, that afew of the sites on the main page are no longer in existance (for example, MothersKnowBest) so I wonder how frequently things are being updated over there anymore....

No such thing. It really depends on the person. As stated there are plenty of links to sign up and earn a little extra money. It can be trial and error for most. I would sign up with every site like I did and see what you can get. Some you will keep and others you will never go back to. The more you sign up with; the more opportunities you will get.

Do I get compensated for taking surveys?
We currently do not offer incentives on every survey. Occasionally, an opportunity will arise where compensation for survey completion is offered. Email invitations will note if compensation if offered for a specific survey.

I think Iposos owns this. Surveys are pretty fun and short and only need like 5 dollars for american express gift-card or 10 dollars for a check. It may take sometime for 1000pts min because most surveys are 45pts-90pts and are more rare than some of popular ones.

B2B voice for IT's and consumers. Pretty good panel. I just did a $3 survey and $5 survey a week ago. Takes 1-2 weeks to credit your account or when survey closes. $25 min for check or paypal. Not hard to do at all.

Have just started taking surveys. I seem to screen out a lot. If I keep going at this rate it will take forever to get the 1000 points.
I will keep trying though.

Cada Cabeza but for spanish people. Get a 20 dollar in 20 minutes just for filling your 10 profiles!
I cashed out 3 times within 5 months so they do actively send several surveys a month. Its not hard to cashout.

How do you get into viewpoint forum? I saw a blog from awhile back saying it's referral only and they shut down the referral program.

I just read their FAQ's, and this is what it says: How do I sign up for Viewpoint Forum?

We are no longer accepting registrations without a referral. You must be referred by an existing member or receive a special invitation from Viewpoint Forum or one of our affiliates.

 This post is a heads-up for those who have received (or will receive) The National Household Education Survey through the mail.

Do Not Throw Out Before Opening...There is a brand new crisp $5.00 bill included in the survey envelope.

survey info:

The Department of Education wants to understand the condition of education in the United States. This survey is the only way that the Department of Education can learn about schooling and child care arrangements from your perspective.

How was your household chosen?

Your address was randomly selected from among all of the home addresses in the nation. It was selected using scientific sampling methods to represent other households in the U.S. The sample is designed so that interviews with only a few thousand people will accurately describe the educational experiences of almost all Americans. Some households will be selected to receive a second survey that asks more specific questions about the educational experience of children in the house.

Can I complete the survey on the web?

No web option is available for this survey. Please complete the form that was mailed to your address. If you have misplaced your form, call the U.S. Census Bureau toll-free at 1-888-840-8353 to request a replacement survey.
