What's what all these tip programs. Most (like this one) are full of filler garbage. TipStar is free and the best one - simple and effective. IMHO.

:iagree: ...came here to say this. Also, you could do it in your head, it's not rocket surgery, and does not need to be exact... $2 for every $10 on the bill equals 20%, round down some and/or drop a dollar or two if the service was poor.

Now maybe if this tip app has some sort of logging/tracking, so you can make notes on not only how much you spend, but where at, and how good the service is at place X, Y or Z, then we're on to something, otherwise, it's a waste of space.

Is it realy that hard to do the math in your head? Oh by the way 10% is not a good tip people! Most servers make $2.13 an hour! I am a bartender and i make 3.43hr Plus i have to tipout on every dollar that i ring up so i realy dont make any hourly money. TIP YOUR SERVER!

If you were not making enough money or at least as much as minimum wage, then I wonder why are you still working at the same place instead of looking for another job?? Its not hard to get a job as a cashier at a grocery store or at McD. I bet bar tenders or waiters make decent amount of money.

Bartenders and Waiters don't go by the standard minimum wages numbers. I'm sure our friend here makes just enough money when people tip what they should be.

He's probably more referring to people that do not realize this. My friend didn't know this until I told him recently.
