just fyi i got mine thru another co. and it fell apart in the dryer the adheisive came off, the bar fell out (and apart in pieces) of the plastic and the plastic came off, but on a good note i liked the aroma but p/g took care of it so allis well. some people said it ruined their clothes (luckily not mine). not to be negative just wanted you guys to know.

I bought one and have used it in about 10 loads of laundry. So far so good. Love the smell.

let the company(proctor & gamble) know i wrote to them on their website they sent me a coupon for a free product and they asked for the broken parts back (they sent an envelope for it)

Wow im suprised i havent had any problems with mine falling apart etc...I think they work great and i already bought another to replace this one when its gone..the important thing is to stick it on an even surface and not on the 3 spin things if that makes sense lol

Yes - I would avoid this product. Sounds like it's just starting off and the bugs aren't worked out yet.

Most reviews on Amazon state that it broke off in the dryer AND left spots! ...why would anyone do this to their clothes, even if it's free??

Their instructions for removal also worry me:
1. Turn your empty dryer on the high or hottest setting for 5 minutes. This will soften the adhesive backing for removal.

2.Take a PLASTIC SPATULA or a similiar object - nothing metal - and gently slide beneath the edge of the dryer bar holder.

3. Use your spatula again for scrape off any residual adhesive from your dryer drum. When that doesn't work, you should use a kitchen towel and some mild soap.

...this sounds just like 3M's no-nonsense sticky hooks, right? ...just use a spatula :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

...and once it's off, you can't re-stick it. You must buy a new one.

Wow. I just read all of the reviews on Vocalpoint about the Bounce bar. It seems like the majority of people are not having problems with it but alot of people are. I wonder if the heat of the dryers are causing the adhesive to become unglued and make the bar crumble. Not all dryers are made equal.....like stoves...

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.... No problems at all... I have read of folks that have had problems and they have written or called (I am not sure) and bounce has given them a new bar and such.

I had problems too, contacted them via email & they sent me a coupon for any size & type of Bounce product. I picked up the biggest box of dryer sheets I could find ($10 value). I couldn't deal with that dryer bar again.
