With all the talk on the board about not getting paid for surveys, taking money out of your account after a year, not able to log in, forgotten password page that does not work, no response to emails or bad links sent in emails replys for support, it is time for a post to warn others to stay away from this company.

Cleavoice is not legitimate.

Never had a problem with them, and have cashed out a few times. Waiting for a survey to clear so I can cash out again.

The only problem I see is the "forget your password" page, i have it saved in my other laptop so I dont see it as a problem for me, but sucks for people who've forgotten it.

Gee, they owe me 1/3 more than what I have in my account, they do not respond to emails, when they do respond they give you a support link which does not work, you can't log into their website, their "forgotten password" page just sits there when you click submit.. That is my personal experience. I record every survey I take and I don't appreciate companies who steal 1/3 of what I earn and then don't respond to multiple requests to get this corrected.

They have too many problems for this to be a legitimate company.

Clearvoice is a nightmare to deal with. I've got a slew of surveys that I never got paid for, some that show in my account as being disqualified although I got to the end and screen capped the pages saying that I'd get the full amounts and some that don't show in my account at all, and I did an in-depth diary for them that there's no sign that I ever took, never mind being paid. I've sent endless messages to member support with no reply, EVER.

EVERY survey company has a bunch of people that haven't had any problems with them YET... but any company with these kinds of problems, and a support dept that never responds to emails, is a BAD company.

How bad does a company have to be before we call them a scam?

Whenever I see "is a scam survey company", I know what username is next to it.

Never had a problem with them. In fact they pay out fast, they've responded to any issues I've had, and get quite a few surveys. You can't log into their website? Never had a problem. Just did it again.

People need to take their issues up with surveypolice or contact BBB.

In late July I took a survey from them for $10. I emailed them in early September and then a few days later they deposited my money in my account. I was worried that they were not going to deposit the money, but they did.

What I have noticed is that when I type in clearvoicesurveys.com, I cannot log it. I have to type the www in front of clearvoicesurveys.com...

I have done good with this company, they send me a few surveys a week.

I recall some time within the last month or so that they had some type of log in issues with their site and then it was back to normal. Apparently, ClearVoice is one of many that seem to go down for "routine maintenance" or for that matter "unforeseen maintenance".

Other than that, I did have a couple surveys that were not posted properly and emailed the CS dept. Without having to threaten them and being civil, my issues were resolved in a timely manner. I have cashed out with Amazon GC's and received the code immediately.

How do you classify someone as a scam who immediately rewards with an Amazon GC?

Not only have I been paid by ClearVoice, but once they even recruited me for a $75 online Focus Group (total work of about 1 hour), and changed the pay to $100 because they wanted to add on 3 or 4 extra questions. They paid it almost instantly.

I don't think Clearvoice is a scam, but I don't like their policy. You need to make $10 in a yr to cash out. If you don't reach the required $10 you LOSE all you made. I just don't like that. I earned close to that, but then POOF, my earnings disappeared...because I didn't get enough surveys to qualify for their cashout - in a yr. I would tell others to proceed with caution with this company. If you get alot of surveys that you qualify for - great. If you bank your money, just know your bank will disappear in 12 months if you don't reach cashout.

Surveyhead cancelled my account as well a while ago for being inactive, I think I was on vacation. Anyway, I emailed them and they re-activated it. You could email them, if you haven't already.

i am in a low demographic for a lot of surveys, and they dont send me very many. i was up to $11+ once, and when i went to site, i noticed i only had $7, so i wrote and asked them.

thats when i found out about their expiration rule. so the credit for every survey i do take expires after a year if i havent reached the $10 to cash in. i was going to cash in that $11 when it got credited, but it coincided with the year anniversary of another survey and i havent been able to catch up since.

i have $8 now, but im sure ill never make $10. i should just unsubscribe, but i keep hoping....

Wow, I did not know this. It sounds pretty unfair. I hardly ever get invitations from them. I better check my account and see what $$ I have and from when. While it is hardly a scam, with this information, I think that I will pass on continuing with them if and when I reach $10.00.

With all the talk on the board about not getting paid for surveys, taking money out of your account after a year, not able to log in, forgotten password page that does not work, no response to emails or bad links sent in emails replys for support, it is time for a post to warn others to stay away from this company.

Cleavoice is not legitimate.

Which survey sites are not Scams in your opinion? It's too bad that you continue to have such bad luck and are still struggling with additional survey companies. If you have time or would not mind listing a few/several, I would be interested to know which survey companies you do like? Thanks.

I have been a member of clearvoice for a while now and never had problems logging in and getting paid, until last month. I was only able to log in once last week and no other time. Spoke to customer service and they told me that their emails that they sent me were getting bounced back to them (I am using AOL) which is funny because up until last week I was still getting surveys from them  The rep said they would send me another email but I still have not got it as yet... I am close to cashing out again so I will wait a little and see what happens.

I must be lucky compared to the other posters and all of the problems. I have never had any problems with the site, being paid for surveys, or redeeming for Amazon GC's. I have cashed out six times for gift cards in about two years. Recently, the number of surveys has also increased for me by quite a bit. I have zero complaints with them.

Just a heads up, I called in about a 'forgotten' password, and the password the customer service rep gave me was the one I kept trying to use and it didnt work. They always take a while to credit me for surveys, even when it is just ten cents but some of the questions in their surveys are a riot. I just finished one that included this question...

"How awesome do you consider yourself? (required)
Not particularly awesome
Somewhat awesome
Average level of awesomeness
Pretty awesome
Legendary"

Customer service sent me another email today with a solution to my problem of logging in. Apparently, I have to put "www." in front of clearvoicesurveys(dot)com in order to get in the site. If I leave off the "www." part it will not log in and if I add it I can log in. Was able to log in and cash out for my amazon points and I had two surveys waiting for me.

I just got a survey to look at some new ClearVoice homepage designs and tell them which one I liked the best. Unfortunately there was no place to type in comments or I would have told them to fix their log in problem, stop ripping people off on credit for surveys, and to answer their freaking email.

They got too many problems to be worrying about a new homepage. Looks like they are losing survey participants who can't log in, are tired of being cheated on points, and who can't get an answer to email. I hope they rot.

I had a problem with them being slow with paying one time. I contacted them and told them that I was concerned and I was paid within a few days.

I think survey companies have not escaped the bad economy,( like most of us), and that a little respect and understanding goes a long way. I know there is a lot of companies out there that make their living cheating people, but I donot believe ClearVoice is one. Thats my opinion and I tend to trust people untill they prove me wrong.

Just cashed out my 7th Amazon gift card so far this year. None of these provide much more than some extra money or gift cards, but it is better than nothing. I can't complain about it and have never had any issues with them, in fact, the number of surveys has dramatically increased over the past few months and the credit has been processed in a consistent manner for me. I certainly don't have any issues with the 12 month use or lose deal when I reach the point to redeem every month or two. Sorry to hear about others with issues, but I fail to see any signs of the company being a scam. I also have never had a single problem logging in or getting to the homepage. I use FireFox and have it bookmarked with no issues.

Thanks for the heads up. I am sure some are suspect of a person always complaining, but personally, I am suspect of people who continually cheerlead and champion certain sites and/or try to shut the complainers up.

I appreciate the OP for sharing her experience in the hopes it will allow people to go forward with this company with their eyes wide open. I don't know how people can constantly bash someone for sharing their personal experiences. If this happened to her why shouldn't she tell others. That is why when I shop at Amazon I read ALL the reviews, not just the 5 star ones. And with surveys, I want to know what survey sites I should not bother wasting my time on.

You're right. The survey companies have not escaped the bad economy and have dealt with it by ripping people off. There is no respect and understanding for that and if that is what you think, you are a sucker. They need to start showing the survey takers some respect and understanding. I trust people until they prove me wrong. ClearVoice is another survey company who has.

I am beginning to think these threads are created just to get attention for himself/herself. Despite mostly unfavorable comments about these posts/threads, new threads continue to appear. Finally got over $10 in my account for the first time, tried to cash out with an Amazon gift card, and when I go through the steps, everything proceeds okay until I click "redeem" and the final message I get is "Unable to fulfill your request at this time. Please try again later."

Been that way for a couple days. I emailed customer service and received no answer yet. Anyone else have this problem? What's the best solution?

It took me over 10 months to get to $10.20 so I'm done with the company as soon as I can cash out, but I need to cash out in the next few weeks or money will start disappearing from my account when the old earnings age off.

I have $10.20 in my account, but can't redeem it. After I click "redeem," the error message appears instantly, directly below where you enter the access code.

Is there any way to get customer service to respond to an email, or is calling the phone number the only way to get help? Ugh, I hate calling, would much rather email.

Their customer service takes a really long time to reply back, Prob. 1-2 weeks. All I can think of is clearing out your cache and cookies (look it up on yahoo/google if you don't know). I just redeemed the other day or try a different internet browser (I used Firefox). Doubt that will help but worth a shot.

I hadn't had any problems redeeming until trying today and got the same message you received. I just redeemed another gift card on 5 Oct with no problems, but can't now. Hopefully, they will correct the issue. All of my Amazon gift card codes are stacking up toward Christmas gifts.

Calling the number resolved my problem instantly, before that I sent 2 emails and never heard back. Safe bet is to call :) the person I talked to was very knowledgeable and helpful, just remember they are in Colorado so the time zone might be different. :)

Can you tell us how they resolved and what their explanation was? ty

I tried to go to the website at www.clearvoicesurveys.com today to see if the gift card problem was fixed yet, and now the web page won't open at all. Then I tried to call 303-534-3333 and there was no answer, even though it should have been within business hours mountain time. I'll try again tomorrow, but anybody have any idea what's going on?

Well, yes, I know that urls begin with http:// , but that's not the problem. The page doesn't open for me, whether I type it into the address bar or click on the hyperlink in your post. Does it open for anyone else right now? For example, when you click on the link in your post, does the page open for you? For me, it just tries to open but never finishes, and the screen is blank.

Edited to add: it just opened for me finally on about the third try, after about a minute of waiting for it to load (and I'm on a fast connection where pages usually call up in a second or two). After about another 30 s-l-o-w seconds, I logged in. I'll see how far I can get!

Edited to add: no luck, just wound up at an error page after two or three minutes trying to get the next screen to load.

Its doing the same thing for me now. When I posted my link, I had logged in with no problem. Now it just loading and loading. Maybe they are having issues with the website. Good Luck.

Thanks! Glad to know it's not just my computer. Sounds like they're having problems. I'll try giving them a call tomorrow when they open again.

Good news! I tried the website today, and my Amazon gift certificate redeemed immediately, so maybe the site was down yesterday because they were fixing it. Anyway, all seems to be working now.

Just tried again and the gift card redemption worked without a problem so it looks like that issue has been taken care of.

Thank you, thank you, for the head's up. I've been trying for over a week to cashout - even emailed them couple days ago. Finally worked.
