Hey guys, questions for you. I just found out my xbox 360 elite order from dell was canceled from the recent deal :confused:. I still want to take advantage of the 50 rebate from xbox and am thinking of buying one from gamestop since I have alot of games to turn in. I was wondering if they will buy my used 360? Also, if anyone knows, how much they usually buy it for? I think its a pro. The bonus optional question is if anyone knows of a good deal out there I can combine the rebate with? The rebate is from MS so the money isn't coming from the retailers' pockets. However, the rebate only applies to new systems so refurbished and used elites don't count. As for how much GS buys a 360 for...just call them up..

We have a friend who wanted to trade in something like 100-200 Xbox original games to gamestop a few years back, and they were offering 25-75 cents a game. He instead decided to give them away to neighborhood kids. NOBODY took them, not even for free.

Well, anyways he did turn the games in and got Rockband lol.

I ended up trading in a bunch of games and accesories with my 360 yesterday. It worked out with their promotion for $20 extra for every 4 xbox 306/ps3/wii games you turn in and my edge card discount stacking on top of that. They gave me 225 store credit and I had $30 on my edge card. So after the $50 rebate from MS my new elite will only be $16 out of pocket.

with promotion they can be decent sometimes.
right now they are offering a $20 trade in bonus when you trade in 4 360/PS3 or Wii games that are worth more than $2 each.
