We are currently conducting a research study regarding Food & Beverages and would like to invite families in certain cities to participate in a multi-faceted project. Each member of the family will be asked to keep a 10-day audio diary, followed by a week-long homework assignment involving taking photos and a 4-day online bulletin board discussion. A bulletin board is a new, cutting-edge way to conduct market research that allows you to participate from your home, office, the local coffee shop or any place that has a high speed internet connection.


The study will run from October 30 - November 19 and will require all participating family members to complete all audio diaries, homework and online discussions.

I'm 99.9% sure that you can only do 1 every 6months...last year I did a cheapie($50) for them and I got called a few months later for another one($100), and when I answered that I had done one a few months ago, I was told that they only accept panelists into a study if 6 or more months have passed since the previous one had ended...I was yanked that just about every one that came my way for the next 6months was $100 or more-now I choose my qualifiers based on amounts too:P

Wow, sounds like a TON of work but the way I look at it after you did all the work and you get the check it is like having a baby-you sure are happy even though you worked for it...

i got qualified for 2 studies but again they cald me and said the quotas are full and iam still on waiting list as backup for them,now a days iam not even answering their surveys because its so wierd that they call and say iam in and again they call and say that iam on waiting list or someother reason,may be its my bad luck and it may work for others,but i personally feel they are wasting my time because sometimes iam middle of some important work with my kids but still i used to answer their screeners and now iam fed up,so left them,anyways its my own problem and goodluck to all who are trying

I have been with 20/20 about 8 months now, and one thing I have noticed is the focus groups I have gotten into via 20/20 have been through slickdeals even though I am in the 20/20 database. So just passing on the good fortune to slickdeals since I have gotten more focus groups from here then I did even though I am registered with 20/20 or focus fwd etc.

Thats right once every 6 months (2 pr yr)

:secret: It's called lying and/or cheating when they ask you on the phone "when was the last time you participated in any market research or focus group" and you say "no" knowing that you have participated in one in the last 6 months. The thing most newcomers don't know is that 20/20 and other research companies of the like can see exactly (month/day/yr) when the last time you participated in anything for them when their viewing your contact info on their computer as their talking to you on the phone. They can see right then if you are lying or not. :harhar:

20/20 sometimes does not follow that 6 month rule. In the past couple years my husband has been called as a last minute replacement and they were asking him if he wanted to participate knowing that he had just done one 3 months prior. So I guess it depends on the situation and what they need. I have seen other posters on here mention they were called as well for last minute replacements with 20/20 knowing they had recently been in one.
