The McDonalds birthday club is a per location deal. The corporation does not sponser it, they leave it up to the managers to decide so I'd check your local McDonalds. You may have to ask but usually there will be a card to fill out in the store. The child will receive a letter from Ronald McDonald and a coupon for a free Happy Meal during their birth month, and is for children under 10.

Very few if any of the other deals listed on the front page can come close to a $26 value except maybe the free doughnuts at Krispy Kreme.

As far as Todai's being available worldwide I wouldn't hold my breath. There are only 3 Todai's on the East Coast (NY, Virginia and Illinois have one each). The west coast on the other hand has more Todai's than you can shake a stick at. Of course there are more asians on the left coast which is probably why you see more.

I've done this before. I think you get emailed a coupon for $3 or $4 off a $20 purchase. And then I did get emailed a coupon for a free burger on my bday. Great way for them to bring people in to spend money! Who is going to go by themselves on their bday for the free burger? You would go with someone and their meal wouldn't be free. How many asian live in Texas? I live in the San Francisco Bay Area aka FOB city LOL :lmao: ! It's too bad for you because we get all the real asian cooks here. Real authentic chinese food cooked by real authentic chinese chefs (from China). Same with Japanese sushi.

Do a scavenger hunt. Take a stroll down Daly City (70% Phillipino) go down to the local Barnes & Noble and try to find a white (non-latino) person. I think it's funny personally. I spent 5 hours one afternoon studying with classmates at the Barnes & Noble and there was literally only two white people in the whole building and it was a busy day with all the tables jammed.

I had a free ice-cream at IHOP on my birthday. They didn't even ask for ID or anything else. I just mention if they do such a thing and they bring me free ice-cream, vanilla 3 scoops with cream on top :)

If you purchase a donut with the filling missing it has nothing to do with corporate. That's a local store issue. It means someone in the back forgot to put creme/filling inside the donut. All corporate does is make the big decisions like what stores to open/close, etc. They don't micromanage. Micromanaging is for the store managers.

Used several of these in the past couple of weeks! Great find! Free dessert at BW3, appetizer at Macaroni Grill, ice cream at Cold Stone, B1G1 @ Damons and Culvers (mind you...I didn't personally eat all of these items...my family of 5 all chipped in, too!) Most definitely! Todai in Schaumburg, IL is frequented by many asians. My boyfriend's company (all Japanese) goes there constantly. It's also my korean boyfriend's mom's favorite place to go with all her friends. When I was in college in various Asian organizations, we always went there. My b-day (and my husband's) is tomorrow. I signed up for most of this stuff back when this was first posted, and so far the only place that sent me something (of the places that have to send a coupon vs you just going in and showing ID) has been Ruby Tuesday's, for a free tall cake. I was hoping for the free Moe's, since that's something you can do for lunch (I guess you could go to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch, I just think of it as a dinner place.) Anyway, on top of the birthdays it's our wedding anniversary (he won't ever forget it!) and we're going out to a nice, non chain place that I doubt will have any free birthday stuff.

Oh yeah, I did get a birthday post card in the mail from Chicken of the Sea. Nice, glossy thing with a pic of a birthday cake, and it said "Enjoy Savings on your Birthday" on the front. So I flip it over, and it's a 25 CENT coupon. :lol: What cheap losers! It cost more to send the postcard! Most definitely! Todai in Schaumburg, IL is frequented by many asians. My boyfriend's company (all Japanese) goes there constantly. It's also my korean boyfriend's mom's favorite place to go with all her friends. When I was in college in various Asian organizations, we always went there. For McDonalds you can go in and fill out a form to mail off. I received coupons for a free happy meal, a free dessert, and something else (don't remember-it was almost a year ago) but you can only use one at a time. BK also has forms you can mail off.

As far as the Red Lobster Overboard club, I've been signed up with this for about 5 years and the other day I received an email for $5 off two adult entrees. I guess this is okay. Problem is, I hate the ones that make you buy two entrees to get a birthday deal. There's a lot of people who are single and just want to go out alone.

Gee, this bday - the act of redeeming any bday coupons for me has basically sucked. I went today to Baskins and Robbins in my hometown for the free scoop. Lady hands me the scoop and I walk to the register. Hand her my coupon and explain it's the bday coupon etc. Right away, she acts like I'm a fraud. Big freakin deal. The MOD comes over says that they can't accept a printed coupon like that etc. I explain it has my name on it, it's dated with a barcode and it came from B&R for the bday club. No deal. Everybody is staring at me and she takes the ice cream back! What a bunch of b!tches!! Same thing happend earlier at Hooters. I had a coupon for a free appetizer since I'm a VIP member. I called in my order for free cheesesticks and go in to pick them up (like I did last year). Girl hands me the order in the bag and I hand her the coupon. Then she says it has to be dine in and takes the bag back. I called the manager over and blah blah...I said, "So what, are you going to throw them away" etc. Then he wants to know where I got the coupon and I explained that it was emailed to me. After 10 minutes of me saying that he can just keep the cheesesticks since it's such a big deal...he keeps saying he'll give them to me but he is scrutinizing the coupon. I walk out with them but don't feel like going back there again.

It is so freakin sad that 90% of businesses nowadays willl treat the customer so rudely over a one to five dollar item and a legit coupon.

Makes my happy bday mood go sour :mad:

I have found that viturally noone checks IDs and i use a bday that is either a month before or after my bday or same month but inverted day digits so i can blame typo if asked. Some of these sites only start the 2 week period from printing. I noticed this with On The Border so if you aren't going to get there, do not open the link. Save it for when you are going to get there and then activate it. I live in CA, and I was visiting Las Vegas over the weekend with my son, so I bought this coupon to the McDonald’s in Circus Circus, Las Vegas, and they would not honor it because I didn’t print the coupon in color. I was very disappointed because the coupon did not mention that I had to print in color. Also, not many people would have colored printers at home! They also accused me that I could have made copies of the coupon. I had asked them whether they could just scan the code to show that it hasn’t been used, but they said no. I thought they were pretty rude. I think they should change the coupon so that somehow it could be scanned.

redrobin is the only bday freeby i do every year.the last time they even let me get my free burger to go.unfortunately famous daves bbq doesnt have a bday club here.thier foods pretty good as well.

I have redeemed the free birthday ice cream in the past at Baskin Robbins and the owners usually give me a dirty look and reluntantly give me a small scoop of ice cream. I never feel welcomed in redeeming the birthday coupon so I don't redeem them anymore. It is a very small scoop so it is not worth the time,gas and rudeness.
