First off, credit to Verus who posted this in the Iphone / Ipod Touch app thread (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=926145&page=74).

TowerMadness is one of the better Tower Defense games for the IPhone. It's not Geodefense, but it's pretty darn good. Normally a $3 app, the paid version dropped to free for a day about two months ago. Today they released a free version of the full app that has includes ads. Honestly, they're not that annoying that this doesn't make it a good deal for those who missed it 2 months ago.

I've had that for a while now, I didn't know it was paid. Guess I got it on that free day.

Either way, it's a great tower game.

I did a search and it looks like it was free in August, but is a paid app currently. This version is the same full version, but is ad supported. Looks like they came out with it as a promotion; can't go wrong with a full and free version!
