Yea I had to change my play style for the new levels....soooo many more places you can get killed from now, not to mention the 12 new kill streaks

Not really that good, but I figured I'd add myself anyways.

What is a good gun. I'm finding the targeting to be a bit off as the levels increase.

What is the maximum character length for clan names? 4?

Also, should those who add their names post their skill level? I'm average most of the time.

I'll try to be on to drag the team down, but no guarantees. I use the PSeye for my mic, so if it gets annoying (picking up background noise), I can always unplug it.

with the Bling perk I have silencer & extra damage perks attached. and then I ALWAYS use the perk that allows 1 less kill for kill streaks. I actually have the pro of that which I think gets me 2 less kills for kill streaks. i'd say its a pretty sweet set up.

What attachment allows more damage(famas specific)?! FMJ goes thru more barriers but i didnt see a more damage attachment.

FAMAS is what I use also. Fits my style of play better than any of the other guns that I have tried.

I will chime in here to say, that compared to: Socom I&2 and Killzone2, This game fits in the middle.
Killzone2 is much more game find friendly, and you can choose the parameters for what party you are looking for.
That being said, I got tired of the game when I saw the last leg of the journey becoming a 3 star general, you have to kill 5k peeps. Did I mention the targeting sucks in Killzone?
In this game its much much better, so I am not too embarrassed.

I thought that at first too, but I unlocked it, and I had to clear the "New" tag so I selected it.

I dont watch it too much, it pings every couple seconds and just gives direction mainly. It also didnt hurt that the only cover to one of the flags was through the room I was sitting in. sheep to the slaughter B)

I'm still having problems joining/inviting people. Does it help to add the clan tag? I've managed to join some games and play with them, but it's annoying when my invites fail. Does it make a big difference when you invite?

I was on a team that got owned by a nuke. Your guys just freezes motion and the screen looks al crazy and it says you died from radiation exposure......ended the game instantly lol

Thats how I was at first. Once I finished campaign (which is disappointingly short) I started Special Ops then finally did MP. Now that I started MP I cant quit playing lol. There are so many awards its kind of addicting trying to get them all.

yeah last night I got a couple for longest kill streak, highest k/d ratio and something else like most kills w/ a different weapon or something random. I changed my emblem and title to my newly earned ones, but I doubt anybody will know what they mean anyway. Kinda pointless.

Mine is like 0.9ish which is halfway up my friends list but my accuracy is like 6% higher than the second highest friend and almost double half of them. I sit anywhere from 24.5-26%

I havent checked my accuracy or K/D ratio. im pretty sure both a pretty bad though lol. I have a bad habit of trying to use the sights when its a shootout instead of hip shooting.

The game is young. Give it some time and keep leveling up... you'll memorize the maps and find weapons you really like and will be good to go. I just notice that by the end of a gaming session I get really impatient because I'm tired... that leads to a ton of deaths sometimes.

Well when I play a lot of TDM, I can keep a decent k/d ratio (at least in cod4 I could), but when I play sabotage, I carry the bomb a lot and end up getting killed planting the bomb a lot too, but I care more about winning.

I realize that on non-TD matches, you could totally get a lot of kills from just chilling in the corner and not getting caught

I ran around for 17 of them... once I got to there I sat in a building because I was getting close to Nukeing... (I had the Chopper Gunner in the air)... and then I realized that I had deselected the Nuke like two games ago...

Got nuked for the first time tonight with everyone..

Yeah I see you at the bottom on accuracy. I might suggest firing using bursts instead of fully auto unloading on people. Playing with Barekillstealer and Huskercampmaster cant hurt either.

woulda been fun if i could have stayed in the party...kept getting kicked out then couldn't join back up. i'll be back on tomorrow afternoon/nightish to play some more. no more exams til finals week!!

I started getting kicked out of the games too after a while. I dont know if its my internet connection or the servers. I was playing pretty crappy last night too. Everytime I turned a corner there was a gun in my face or 3 other guys would start shooting me.

That was fun if only we can not have people backing out of the rooms after they see 8 of us on it.

Has anyone tried setting up a private room? If we get enough from our friends list we can easily have 10-12 on and we can choose maps and game type, just sayin'.:D

I have read that you rank up in a different area. So if you cheat then you dont really measure up to the "online" world.

But I havent tried it.

When someone is in a game and there is free space in the game you can click "Join Game". It appears right below "Invite to Game" when available.

yeah you can click join game from the XMB. sucks though you arent guaranteed to be on the same team.

yea, it is a pretty cool option. i kinda like playing against some of ya'll just to see how we stack up

I only like playing on the same team as bareborn and husker and silentass...sas...sin... however you spell it. getting pwned by them on the other team is no fun at all.

BTW, tonight I was really irritated that I couldnt join the party. So I dominated on HQ and almost got to rank 34 :)

We play Domination sometimes(alot more fun with a team)...but if its just like 3-4 of us we usually play TDM

I am playing Sabotage, Domination, HQ, and Capture the Flag. HQ still seems best for ranking IMO, but I really like the objective modes.

Well if you get an awful team it is tough, but I have been getting like 1100 bonus each time, and you dont have to win, just not get stomped out.

I think if the sD clan all got together on it we would pull some major points... then again, who would the lucky 6 be allowed to play since we seem to get really large team sizes?

I guess we can split off into two teams or something.

I finally loaded up MW2 tonight and got a few rounds of MP going. Ended up getting to level 7 in about 2 hours. So far, the game is much faster than COD4 and the kills are faster. Will take some practice.

I pretty much play domination exclusively for that reason too. Having three flags to go after keeps people moving. The deathmatch/free for all stuff is too random/camptastic for my liking.

Is anyone having issue with the game freezing or getting kicked off the internet since they got MW2? I noticed my system will freeze for a few minutes sometimes and wont even let me enter my "home" page. Im also getting bad glitches from time to time and my guy will start running around and shooting on his own, then it will sometimes kick me off a game.

Maybe my ps3 is dying? Good thing i bought the extra year warranty.

Sounds like your internet as far as the glitching around...not sure about the home page.

I got into a lagfest last night, a couple games I was in got axed due to poor connections. No problems other than that.

BF:1943 on PSN has HORRIBLE problems with freezing in mind game. The only solution was to pull the plug on the PS3. Controllers become unresponsive, but I could still hear sound. There was a QoS router setting that could be updated, but I didn't try it yet...

I would recommend going w/ a wired connection. As far as freezing, I think they just do that from time to time and it doesn't necessarily mean its dying.

I suck at the knife thing, and it gives me a headache...

It feels like something was changed in the patch for spawning because I now routinely spawn under people's killstreaks or in FFA right next to the person (or around the corner from the person) who just killed me.

It's getting really facking annoying.

yeah I started playing without cold blooded but I don't think that would be the main cause of this? A lot of times I am spawned immediately under a harrier strike, precision strike, predator missle, everything. and then when I'm not placed under that I am spawned right in front of enemies. Once I was actually spawned directly in front of an enemy sentry gun that was placed way earlier in the match and it killed me immediately. I mean, WTF?

It feels like they have broke the game more because I wasn't having anywhere near these issues before.

I'll be on around 8 tonight.

I think the chopper gunner is the worst since they can just continually fire on spawn points. I swear w/o cold-blooded everytime there is a chopper gunner in the air if I get killed once, I'm gonna get killed at least two more times at spawn.

Then don't let the other team get a chopper gunner LOL
