I didn't reply with an email address and about 10 minutes later received a confirmation saying "Your free betty crocker cookie mix recipe booklet featuring 10 prize. Winning holiday recipes and coupons ships soon" - so I don't think you have to necessarily give them your email addy.

its because you arent a member of shoptext.
You can signup on their site or via text (send your email, address etc)
