HU: check you email.
GOP has just changed its privacy terms. You need to click the link in the email to review the new privacy policies and accept to continue your membership. If you decline it, you will not receive any more surveys and will not be able to redeem your points in the current account. I don't see anything strange on the new privacy policies and I have hit accept.

About how long does it take you guys to get a check? I know it says 6-8 weeks in the FAQ but I requested back in June in August and i thought it was faster then that.
Only reason I ask is because I can't remember how long it took to get and I requested a check on Nobember 2nd and I really need to get it before December 4th.

I am not sure if your request went in before or after their recent "glitch" but I had requested a check the first week of October and they sent me an email in the last week telling me it had been overlooked because of a glitch in their system and it would take an additional 2 weeks.

Just got a telephone call for the follow-up survey on the pet food PT. I've never had that happen before, but it guess it's one way to guarantee that the responents actually answer truthfully. It was a pain though...took 10 minutes to answer questions which would have taken about 3-4 minutes via an internet survey.

I got very few surveys from them and then a few days ago, after I accepted the new terms thing, I've been getting a lot of things from them. I almost wonder if it wasn't also a way that they used to see how many people were still interested in taking their surveys.

I hope everyone is watching their pts carefully, cause I keep getting screwed out of credit. They won't answer my emails and the phone now goes to voicemail. I make a lot of $$ from this company and this is getting really annoying for me. The "oops" mistake is done for me

They have been slipping as far as the time frame in which they credit points and the whole overlooking requested payments thing but they generally make good on points earned.

Heads up.
Got a 15 minute one about cheese today. No PT and it took about 45 minutes, complete waste of time. Instead of letting you rank items, it gives you endless screens of picking one over the other. Every possible combination is displayed. And when you are done with those they present you with some hugh check box screens, then start running the exact questions again.
Avoid. Best to DQ out of this one.
Agree with several posters above claiming this company likes to overlook crediting you someitmes.

I emailed them about missing points for both online surveys and PTs/in-home studies a while ago and they responded right away asking for the original email, survey number and/or any other info about the study. I responded with the info and haven't heard crap back from them nor been credited with any of the missing points.

Just got this survey, 81E601, made it to a page where it asked me if I was willing to try the product and then mail back a questionaire, I clicked Yes and then Next, and got "sorry you didn't qualify." Was I supposed to check "No?"
Maybe it's a really pushy product that only enjoys being tried against peoples will?

They have been a little screwy ever since they claimed to have improved their methods/system. I have been emailing them about not getting credited for a PT/study that took a lot of time and effort to complete, they have taken forever to get back to me and now that they have... they are saying that I did not get the study through them. Wtf, seriously... I do not have the original email invite but I wrote down all the info when I qualified and copied all the info from the papers that came with the PT. I know I got it through them, not through another company but they are claiming otherwise and saying that even though I completed it that since I did not get it through them... my account won't get any points for it.
Two weeks of carrying around extra stuff everywhere I went and recording a ton of info multiple times per day... all to be told I won't get any credit for it.

Just received a TP PT today, but I recieved 3 boxes of it, all with different product codes, stating the usual "Stop using current item and use this item for the next two weeks".
What to do when the survey comes and they ask about the product code????
What's funny is I thought this would happen with Toluna actually because I took 2-3 of the same surveys for different brands of TP and thought I would end up getting 2-3 PT's from them for it.
Don't remember taking 3 at Global Option panels, funny for sure, wonder if this has anything at all to do with me taking 3 of similar ones at Toluna?

I saw some SD saying that they got the same PT from Toluna, Mindfield and Global Opinion Panel. If you have done all 3, you may possibly get 3.

But these are all from Global Opinion panel, saying to use the one product only during the next few weeks. I have three products, and should only use one....
And then, what to put on the survey when they as me product code? Surely I wouldn't get three different surveys would I? I suppose I might if they really think they can send me 3 similar products each with directions to only use that one product for the next week.

As I said in another thread, you can qualify for Synovate PTs through just about any company but the way to tell if you qualified through Synovate/Global Opinion Panel is if the paperwork that came with product test has your age and gender printed on it. When you qualify for a PT from them with your Synovate/Global Opinion Panel account they always have the gender and age of the panel member on the accompanying paperwork, if it lacks said information it is through another company.

Well normally PT from Toluna say they are from Toluna, this does not on the box or letter.
What I am more confused about is what code to put on the survey I receive if I only receive one survey for all three products?
They all look to have come from the same place, Synovate or Toluna doesn't really matter though, how can they say "Stop using your current product and use this one single product for the next week or so", yet this letter is included with three boxes of separate/same products?
Can't very well use product A, B, and C solely, at the same time?

Got what you said...I thought that you have 3 boxes of the same product...So, it is a box of 3 boxes of products, right? I have received 2 boxes of product A and B in one box (possibly we are not having the same PT), one to use first and another one to use next. For my case, I got it from Toluna and the email sent from Toluna although the box was delivered by GOP and a GOP instruction has been attached.

It is three separate (Same) products, in three separate boxes, all with their own letters saying to use only that one product in said box for the next week. 3 boxes, products 1, 2, 3, in their own respective boxes with letters in each.
Shoot me a PM if you want, then I suppose I could clarify a bit more?
I am not sure about the email's, or which survey # these were for though, as I did not keep track. If I am thinking correct though, I took the surveys at Toluna, and like you said the boxes/letters say Synovate/GOP
Mine definitely are not for consecutive use or anything like that, each letter says put aside current household products and use only this one for the next week or so. Each box had a letter saying that, as if I only received one box/PT.
2 of the three are from one brand, and the third is another brand. Codes are single letters unlike most codes I have seen in the past, maybe that could tell us if we are on the same one? And it is for TP

I would bring it right to fedex then that way they can get it shipped out. They will show up at your place, and im sure that the survey company will find out right away that this was not returned. When I got mine I was excited because it was unexpected all of what came in the package (5 different things), and i was disappointed when I read that it had to be returned. But they have been very generous with the PT's they have given me and I wasnt going to take the chance of not sending it back and getting no more PT's from them.
If its inconvienant for you to drop it off at Fedex, I would use the contact info they provided with the package and let them know whats going on. I wouldnt take my chances of just not returning it, unless you dont mind not getting anything from them anymore.

You must have a similar product test because I also received 5 items. We don't have a Fedex office/location in town, closest one if over 50 miles away. I'll do what you mentioned and try the contact number and see if they can think of a better solution.

Thanks for the help.
I remember one time that I left home without leaving the return PT at my doorsteps and I was already on the bus to work, did not have time to go back home. I called the contact number and talked to a lady. She was so nice. Then, the Fedex guy left me his phone number that I can reschedule another pick up time with him. I am not sure if you can change the pick up address or not. But, I would suggest to call Synovate and see if that lady (not sure if she's still around) can help you to change the pick up address to your workplace.

Cashed out for $10 on 4/23, played the waiting game, sent an email 6/15 send another day or 2, still no check. They also owe me 100 pts from 6/9 and 700 pts from 6/19. Email replies take forever and that whole 72 hr waiting period is a crock imho. Did get a PT in the mail today, but I am really frustrated them

I recently redeemed points for a $25 check, it took about a month to get it, but I didn't have any problems with it.

You are not supposed to mention brands, that is the quickest way to get tossed from a panel.

As far as Synovate goes that is the only way to do it, since there are several PTs of the same product for different brands going on at the same time.

No, you agree not to disclose information about product concepts and actual products when you take the survey. Posting brands on the forum is a great way to get yourself and others kicked off a panel. Nondisclosure agreements exist for a reason and many SDers have already seen the backlash from at least one panel over posting too much info about a PT/study.
You clearly have no common sense.

I just want to clarify, as far as I know the perfume survey is a Pre-survey, since I have gotten many PMs/ Rep comments asking about this. :) I haven't, and I don't think we were supposed to receive the product yet.
EDIT: To people who finished the survey, should we save the link???? The ending was really unclear.
EDIT2: @JewBagel I edited my post to appease you, but if it matters that much to you please fix the post you quoted me in.

It is not to appease me, it is to comply with the (legally binding) terms you agreed to when first participating in the survey/study/PT... terms just about every SDer knows and follows as not to hurt their chances for future surveys/studies/PTs.

@Lovestiny- I received the PT yesterday, in a medium brown box, but I am only a few towns over from where they ship from so yours is probably on it's way.
Also, if anyone did receive the PT we just leave the envelope in front of our house, no shipping label just the consumer commodity sticker?

I did this pt a few weeks ago and I actually sent an email to them asking them that exact question. I was told that FedEx would have the shipping label and to, as the letter states, simply leave the envelope by my front door. After finishing the pt, I left the envelope as instructed and when I arrived home later that afternoon the package was gone so this must be a normal thing for them:/ It would be alot easier if they just included the shipping label w/ the packaging though.
