With the recent thread on the WD TV Staples Post where people bought a 25 off 75 code from various places, it had me wondering about hwo this works and how you can figure out which coupon codes work and which are scams...before actually buying or ordering them. I see them when I search all over eBay, but wonder if they're all legit.

This would be good to know for upcoming BF.

1) For eBay, how soon do you get it? Do you really have to bid and wait for the time left to expire before they send it to you? What if it doesn't work? Can you get a refund?

2) For the SDer club, how is credit deposited? How is this different from using eBay or other places?

3) When you buy these coupons, does everyone who gets it from the same seller or site get a unique bar code or sku or are they all the same?

4) How do you know if these will work or be accepted in-store? Is it always YMMV?

5) Are these all authentic from the retail stores who print and sell these or are they custom made by other people?
