Goahd I hate this. Please don't try to install ActiveX components on my PC. I don't want them.

I've never gotten that error... try using firefox!

Ive never gotten that on slickdeals, even with IE6. Sounds like you got spyware problem.

Not spyware. It's an activeX control on this web page, likely from:

bustnet.com
adknowledge.com
tacoda.net

all of which want to write a file to my PC. I don't want em.

It’s most likely the flash based banner ads. If you don’t want them, then don’t adjust your settings and keep the controls disabled.

What ads are you seeing when this pops up?
