I'm sure many of my fellow SD'ers will agree that the flood of Zhu Zhu Hamster threads popping up whenever one comes in stock has become annoying. I feel this will only get worse as the holidays draw closer. I think the best solution is to sticky an "Official Zhu Zhu Hamster Tracking and Availability thread" in the Hot Deals section. I recall there was a thread just like that for the Tickle Me Elmo craze a year or two and it drasticaly reduced the amounts of individal threads.

I realize there is already such a thread (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1657425) in the Deal Talk section. Perhaps this thread can be temporarily moved and stickied in Hot Deals? Or if not, then please take the best info from that one and make a new "cleaner" thread.

You'd rather 4 threads popping up daily sying "ZHU HAMSTER IN STOCK AT TRU NOW HURRY" only for them to be sold out or not work for anyone, and get tons of thumbs down? Because that happens way too often here. Not to mention the off-topic threads that some idiots post in the hot deals section bragging about what they just scored.

Having everything in one thread is for the best.Some deals like the current shopko one is okay, but for the ones where something comes back in stock, it's better to put it in an availability thraed. Plus you can always ignore that one thread if you don't want to see it at the top. It's not so easy to ignore the barrage of individual threads
