I haven't had to click Post a couple times yet, but it has been slower. Maybe it's trying to adjust itself since the upgrade. I have had blanks screens which never happened prior to the upgrade.

Sometimes, but not always, the site seems slow or unresponsive following last night's upgrade:
I get blank screens and have to click refresh one or two times to get pages to appear;
Things generally seem slower, and;
I have to click Post a couple of times when submitting a new post.

Give it a couple days, Im sure Mr. SD will have to made a couple adjustments to the server like tweaking the php.ini and httpd.conf files. Out of the box the defaults don't work very well for large messageboards.

I just created a thread in The Lounge and labeled it with the "cool" category icon but as soon as I submitted the thread it changed the icon to "chat".

The pages were super slow before I could log in. Once I logged in they went faster but I'm still getting blank pages too. Plus I had to change my bookmarks since it's a .com for now!

There's some packetloss going through the firewall. It might be improperly configured or just bad hardware.

BTW, don't change your bookmarks, it'll auto redirect you.

I'm getting "Page taking too long to respond" messages in Firefox 1.5.

It's slow for me...running Windows XP, IE, on broadband connection. Feels like I'm on Earthlink dial-up in the boonies again :(

hmmm thats odd...SD wasn't down for that long. It went down for about 4 hours at 10pm pst on friday.

Oo, that's fun. The worst I've gotten so far is the quick reply box failing to load at the bottom a couple times. I click on the quick reply button on a post, and nothing happens.
