Ryobi router table Model A25RT07, UPC 033287140992, Item 933016, for easy shelf ID the box boldly reads 392 sq inch working surface. Rang up as a penny.
updated title 3/21/10 to include more than just one cent items as some have taken liberty to post general finds, which is fine.

GENERAL ADVICE:
Old style tag:
1) Look for yellow or red clearance tags.
2) Look at the date on the tags:
...........Dates < 3 months = price on the tag was usually still current
...........Dates > 3 months = price had usually dropped a bit more
...........Dates > than 6 months = YMMV <--Where people are finding penny bargains Dates > 8 Months are what you are looking for
3) Get a few other items that you need; think of them as fillers! This is to help you avoid unwarranted scrutiny
4) Go to self-checkout, MUTE THE REGISTER! Check prices if need be; you can roll the dice and just scan, return later if a price comes up that is too steep for your wallet. Most registers do not read out the price, so muting may not be necessary.
5) Scan - SCAN ORIGINAL BARCODE NOT THE YELLOW/RED TAG
6) Pay
7) Leave
8) Go home, scan your receipt, allow us to bask in your SD glory!
New style tag (not yet able to be tested but from a HD employee):
Home Depot has changed its clearance reduction policy. It now goes this way:
A clearance item will end in .06 when it has 6 weeks left until going to a penny. This indicates to the employee that they have 6 weeks to sell through.
A clearance item will end in .03 when it has 3 weeks left until going to a penny.
This is new and won't be indicated on older tags, just those printed recently.
HOW TO CHECK STORE INVENTORY AND PRICES FROM IN-STORE COMPUTERS:
Most Home Depot stores have a computer in the front of the store by customer service. This is to allow customers to look up items on the site and try to find in the store or something. You can also use this computer to check local inventory and prices. This is AWESOME when trying to find $0.01 items. Most clerks will say they are out of them once they come up at $0.01, so you can't trust them. If you see them in stock at your store it then becomes a task trying to find them. As noted in most threads, these items will not be marked as $0.01 and will show as something much greater.
1) Find computer in the store. Most departments have their own computers, but a clerk will give you a hard time if they find you using them. All of the stores in my area have a computer by customer service specifically for customers. This means no one will bug you when running through lists of items.
2) Click on the start menu to bring up a list of applications.
3) Choose the "Price Check" application
4) Enter the special 6 digit Home Depot SKU's in the appropriate box and hit Enter.
5) The next screen will display the local price and quantities for 5-10 stores in your area.
6) Head to that department and try to find your treasure!!!
This also works will in comparison to bringing things up to the self checkout for price checking. I always get mobbed when I try to bring a group of items up for checking. Then if I find something that rings up for a $0.01 I have to still cancel the transaction and come back later to try to sneak through. Enjoy!

How to check store inventory from your home browser:
Replace 1st set of x's with SKU, 2nd set with store number. Sometimes I find the checker doesn't work if you do not have home depot's site open in another tab, if you still get an error browse for a bit on HD's site until it works.

Another inventory checker. Change store #.
You may have to open HD website in another tab for it to work.

Ryobi router table, A25RT07, UPC 033287140992, 392 sq inch surface, rang up as a penny.
Didn't see a place to post just one cent items, so here it is....
Did the item have a clearance tag on it? If so, did you or the cashier scan the clearance barcode or the original barcode on the item?

how do you know if the item is 1 cent?
does it have a tag that says 1 cent?
or is it luck?

All right, I'll assume the OP is gone. I was really hoping he could provide more details about what I voted as an "awesome deal..." It just needed more details.
Also, LOL at the person who voted thumbs down because of "not a good price."
I'll stop bumping now.

Definitely have to respect that. :)
But, why only in this thread? People are bashing people in most other threads as well! EDIT: If not "most", then "many".

Items that are marked 1 cent are actually supposed to be removed from the sales floor, to be either RTV'd or destroyed, and not sold, but due to laziness/errors sometimes they are overlooked, and when a customer tries to buy the item, and it rings up as one cent. The manager "usually" will let the customer buy it for that even though they are not supposed to be sold, just to make the customer happy, but SOMEONE from that item's department WILL be getting yelled at. I wouldn't call this type of thing a repeatable slick deal so much as a random bit of luck due to an error.

If you see an item with a yellow clearance tag and it looks old/dusty, take it to the self checkout area and hit the price check button. Scan the item and it will say the price..outloud unfortunately. It then gives you the option to add to the transaction or cancel. I think the cashier in charge of this area can also see your transaction so be quick about it. Pay and get the heck out of dodge before anyone notices!!!!

Actually I worked at homedepot. Alot of the items with yellow or red tags were suppose to be sent back to receiving, but when they get dumped, sometimes they end up on the floor. Receiving gets in trouble, but they lose count of things alllll the time. The sales associates really dont care.
Always remove the yellow/red tags. They do not need to be scanned. RED tags are saved for damaged or defective items btw. But most costumers say anything is defective just to guarantee their refund.
Self Checkout can look and stop your transaction, so buy 10 or so random small times like gum, paint brushes, nails, etc. They wont look twice. Return the stuff when you are done.
The reason they are one cent is usually because they get returned, once an item is returned without a receipt and we no longer carry it, it is only worth a penny. Or recalled items and product upgrades etc.
The sku for the item is 933106. Brooklyn has one left at gateway drive. Just confirmed with 2 stores it is a clearance item for a penny in new york

So in my experience, EVERY Home Depot store has items on the floor that will ring up for a penny. My luck is somewhere around 90%, but the biggest problem is when they have cases of marked down items; they rarely let them go, even though their alternative is throwing them in the dumpster. All major stores in MA have scanners in the aisles (it's part of an agreement that they made with the AG to settle some of the lawsuits because they weren't pricing every individual item), so checking prices is easy.
I don't know for sure, but I believe in MA they are required to sell items for the price they ring up at if they are not individually marked (assuming that price is lower than the shelf tag, if there is one.) And since it's not a "price mistake", I'm not sure of any legal grounds they'd have for refusing the sale.

No go for $0.01 router table - IN. Still rings up as $39.99.
Also does anyone know which barcode to scan at self-checkout? Is it the yellow price tag or the original barcode on the package or does it even matter? I scaned the router tables yellow price tag and it said "please wait for cashier". She scanned the original code and it came up $39.99.

I bought 8 spark plugs from the small engine section just the other day for .01 each. I took the whole box of them to the customer service register to have an associate look one up, because there wasn't a price posted under them. She said it rang up at a penny and handed it back to me. I said, "I guess I'll be buying them!". She didn't seem surprised at all, and let me go on my way.

Home Depot employee. This is stupid because it happens so rarely. You could walk into any Home Depot and there will be a handful of penny items, but more often they're really, really stupid things that aren't worth a penny. They go to a penny because no one will buy them at $1, $5, $10.
Great penny items that remain on the sales floor are obviously due to a mistake. Don't go into a Home Depot expecting to find great stuff like this. It's 1 in a million. Good luck. Thumbs down because 99.9% of you won't find anything.

FYI:My friend is a ASM @ home depot she said there are always .01 items in there that were never pulled as RTS she said that she finds stuff all the time and that when a customer finds something they go ahead and sell it to them rather than tell them no and take it back she said they end up marking it off on their month end report. I didnt ask her how to find these items but whenever she calls I will.

Hey, go for it. Best of luck. I've worked for Depot 8 years, so believe me or not:
If you go into a depot with a penny sku in mind, you won't find it. If you shop there often enough, you may run into it.
Still a thumbs down.
So I thinking of going to my HD and looking around for some stuff... but what exactly am I looking for? Anything with a yellow/red tag on it? Or are there some other characteristics?
If you live near a depot where the managers/supervisors really aren't doing their due diligence, here's what to look for:
When an item goes on clearance, it's because it hasn't had sales in a specific amount of time. If an item gets moved around enough, when the price changes the sign doesn't get placed on the product. So, the price will continue to drop but the signs aren't placed.
Price changes have nothing to do with a returned item. If it's returned and it's a penny, it was just never purchased because people didn't touch something that was obviously returned.
Weed out good clearance prices by looking for often dirty/dusty boxes, labels that are excessively old (each label has a printed date on it), or merchandise that looks clearly misplaced (lost deep in the racking). You can single out those yellow tagged item because they'll often have clearance events, clearance endcaps, or they'll be in regular places in the aisles.
Here's the caveat:
employees aren't allowed to buy stuff that's a penny. But, they can buy it the price change before a penny (eg. $1.09), so they're motivated to find those before they hit a penny so anyone can get the good deal. A $100 clearance air compressor will often hit several low price points before it hits a penny.
Rant over.
Again, it's incredibly unlikely that you'll find penny shiz if you go on a day-long Home Depot search. But, by shopping there people find them occasionally when they're rung up. I stand by my thumbs down.

Hey, go for it. Best of luck. I've worked for Depot 8 years, so believe me or not:
If you go into a depot with a penny sku in mind, you won't find it. If you shop there often enough, you may run into it.
Still a thumbs down.
Wow, I can't believe what an employee of 8 yrs has to say regarding the penny items. I have been finding items at 1 cent for several years now. Just left HD with a $180 + heater for a penny. Also ended up with various fastners that I was needing for a penny from around 4-5 bucks. These deals aren't always obvious, but they are definitely able to be found if you have the "sku in mind..."

I got a pack of paint rollers there this week. They were marked a dollar but scanned a penny. I ojected when the cashier changed the amount to $1, I said she should sell it for what it scanned, but she wouldn't budge. Still a good deal, but a penny would have been better!

Clearance tags do not have a printed on date on them. Instead they have the date when they went to clearance.

Another misconception in this thread is that penny merchandise is thrown away or given away. Home Depot now donates penny merchandise to Habitat For Humanity-type non-profits.
Not around here it doesn't. In the two districts that I have knowledge of, there are no charities currently setup and the merchandise is destroyed.

Found at North Haven, CT Home Depot. Rang up at $0.01 but the lady refused to sell it to me for that price and charged the last recent price of $3.50 (16.xx originally). She filled out a blue tag to have the price changed in the computer or the timers taken away.

I've had my eyes on router tables since someone posted the $39 clearance price a few weeks ago. Only the Ryobi Intermediate tables are available, and the shelf tags all still say $99. Haven't seen any generator markdowns, either. But congratulations to folks who luck out and get something this inexpensively.

I can confirm this router table is $0.01 in the computer @ a pearland (Houston area) HD. It is the "beginner" table. The yellow clearance tag was marked $79. Unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough at the self checkout, and the employee stopped the transaction. Ended up getting it for $20.01 after manager looked up something.

$20 is a fair enough price. I'll have to double-check the HD by my house and see what it scans for, if it's the same router table.
Have to check out HD for this tomorrow
if the .01 are rare, why are so many of us finding them?

Screw them. That is BS and I think the same thing happened to me. I was looking for the Greenlee fishrod and I found a 15 foot version (all the rest were Klein so it stood out). Stupid me went to the CS desk asked for the price, and the cashier scanned it, looked at another cashier, and then that cashier rang it up on another computer.
She said asked me if there were several over there, I said no it was the only one, and she asked for it and put it behind the counter. She said, "it wasn't even in the system, she had to look in another system to find it". WTF is that? She said the cheapest she could sell it was the 29.99 price it last sold at. What a load of crap. So I guess that may have been my chance at a good clearance item, but I'll never know for sure.
If you do find some of the .01 stuff, instead of the self check out, get a bunch of misc stuff and have the cashier check you out. they use the scanner to scan everything, and it doesnt say the price out loud. They dont look at the register after each scan, so it will likely escape notice, as long as you dont buy 20 things and have a .20 bill.
I did do self check out for a single .01 glostick. Cashier wasnt paying attention, and i was thru in about 10 seconds. Hit finish and pay immediaty.

Well, not a penny but I grabbed a Ryobi tiller that started at $200 for 62. It's the only electric model I know of if you want to go in search of... or pm me for details. It, and the paperwork, are in the car and it's some 2 degrees out there so no details now.
But my question is this. The clearance tag was marked twice the selling price, so it was a 50% reduction. How long before it would have gone down again... asking another way what's the time frame between reductions?

One-cent items do exist but are not easily discovered and are extremely ymmv b+m store specific
I recommend self check-out (charge+bag+receipt+run) but I have used a clueless green cashier who allowed me to pick up more of the same one-cent items after the first one-cent item was discovered.

I could not find the router table, but I found some pool balls, one type help clear the water, the other was supposed to help the pool maintain its heat by creating a film to stop evaporation. The were mark on clearance for $2.91, I grab a few to check see how they worked. My son wanted a yardstick that was marks .62, went through self check and the pool balls rang up at .01, so I had my son run to the back of the store and grab the rest that were on the shelf. Not bad walked out of there spending less then a $1.00.

Yup, plenty of intermediate router tables in stock around Charlotte for $99, but not a single one :shake: of these starter models anywhere I shopped. Even more aggravating, the South Boulevard store had some of the smaller generators in the main front aisle, but they were still at the $400+ current price, no markdowns. :(

I bought a BULL stainless steel built in BBQ at Home Depot, originally $999 for a penny. I cruise the store all the time and keep track of items that are clearance. Look for old dusty boxes up high in the overhead. I have bought at least 40 items originally priced $50 - $400 for ONE CENT.
To repeat: NEVER CALL! Use self check, but wait until the employee is watching or helping others. Buy other items and MOVE QUICK.
Look for a 2 piece Weber-Q tool set in the BBQ area. Guaranteed to be 1 CENT. They may be mixed in with the other Weber 2 piece sets.

In regards to the DO NOT CALL rule, how do you guys feel about this...
At the HD by my work there is a computer in the back that I always use because no employees are ever around. The program that you type the SKU in is always on and it tells me if an item is in stock in the 6 closest HDs around and at what price. If I see that an item is not in stock at a HD 20 miles away, can I call that one and ask if they can see if any stores around them have it in stock? Only reason because theres 3 more HD's within driving distance that dont show up on the computer I use. By the way, I walked around for a good 2 hours today writing down SKU's of stuff that have been on clearence for a long time and most of the prices were alot lower than what the tags showed. Will be doing this often looking for penny deals. Im sure ill find some soon

Great! This sku lost it's home on the shelf. Typically what happens is when a SKU is dropped and goes to clearance status, it loses it's home on the shelf. It's then moved to either a clearance endcap, a clearance area, or sold through. Often what remained in the overhead is left there until it's dug out. Most of you could find it in the overhead behind the netting. Just look for a box with the same SKU on it, ask an employee to drop it for you, and boom, $11 out the door.

The sink is the Elkay Signature Series, 8.5" depth, 18 ga., in a white box, with a predominantly orange label, in case you can't see the sku on a higher shelf.
The router table I found was three aisles away from hardware, up in the rafters. The real key is to find a store with 0, and have them look up the availability at nearby stores. They immediately told me it was clearanced, but I'm not sure they knew the prices at the other stores, unfortunately. Best would be to print out the UPC that was posted earlier, then price check that at the self service checkout in a store with known availability.

FWIW, Home Depot does not throw anything away unless its been cleared by Corp. That rarely happens, usually boxes of nail and screws , outdated chemicals, etc. Home Depot employess started this rumor mill yrs ago in an attempt to disguise the fact they were hiding items in the back in an attempt to purchase themselves and for their friends, a few got caught and the Mgrs of those stores made them throw it all in the dumpster in an attempt to stop that practice. Now employess cannot purchase an item on closeout for 24 hrs after it goes to that status. Hence the huge rumor mill. Home Depot also does not donate because of the lawsuits by other non-profit org. that filed suit alledging discriminatory practices. If you don,t beleieve call Corp, they,ll tell you the same thing.
Thousands of depots still donate. It's stupid that this is still such a big part of the conversation. Sure, some don't, but many do. My entire state sends penny skus to two stores who distribute to 2 organizations.
My deal today is a Husky tactical flashlight for $3. Cost is around $11, original retail was around $21.97. YMMV, but lots in stock in Utah, Idaho, Nevada stores.

managed to run across one last cordless jigsaw in a totally beat up box (but everything was there, and the saw is unused)
price checked it at self checkout (BTW, you can mute the self checkout so no one hears the price), saw it as a penny, added to transaction, paid and ran like the wind!
I actually needed more stuff so I dumped the saw off in my vehicle and went back in.

I'm sorry, but you are completely full of BS. Even if I didn't have intimate knowledge of the way the stores work, I could tell your post was complete crap by the fact that you say Home Depot throws out outdated chemicals. Disposing of chemicals improperly is a great way to get serious fines leveled at the company.
The only part of your statement that is correct is that as per SOP, clearance items must be merchandised for 24 hours before an employee is allowed to purchase them.
Home Depot definitely does donate merchandise to charities in areas where they are set up to do so. Not all HDs are currently partnered with local organizations.

Dewalt DW735 is $0.01 now. Chances are if you find any they are in overstock. Do not price check, and make sure you get some clueless help to get them down, and also make sure you buy something else with them.

Not sure if the receipt I got from my DW735 purchase will help, since for some reason they rang it up with a different SKU (I think it is some generic SKU that they then can put the price and a description in without a managers over ride) so it would probably be hard to link the receipt to the planner. The SKU on my receipt references 923680, where as the planner has some other SKU on it.

Well, I don't have much info on this, but my local HD was trashing 8-10 fireplace screens from their clearance section. Worker couldn't believe they were throwing them away. I don't have a SKU, not even a price, think the edge of the box was white/cream, possibly burgundy/dark text. Sorry I didn't get more, but I'm assuming they would've rang up at a penny if I'd grabbed one. No fireplace for me, though.

Went to my local store last night after reading this thread and wow! Spent three hours going through the store (they finally closed on me)...
Here's what I got:
1 cent = NuTone Ventilation Fan with Fluorescent Light Model 769RFT UPC 784891215377 Was $65
1 cent = Glacier Bay Pedestal Lavatory w/ 4" Centers SKU 332749 Was $59
$5.60 = Kohler Farmington Self rimming lavatory SKU 703001 Was $95
Also picked up the Masterlock key padlock $4.20 Was $25, studsensor $2.40, Several assorted indoor and outdoor timers for a couple bucks apiece....
I followed the advice posted earlier here...go through the store looking for yellow (didn't see any red) clearance tags. Look at the date on the tag. Dates < 3 months = price on the tag was usually still current. Dates > 3 months = price had usually dropped a bit more. Dates > than 6 months = YMMV, but here's where I found my deals.
The store confirmed the 1 cent items should have been pulled. I actually got the sweet, older lady running the self checkout to manually price check over 30 SKUs for items I couldn't fit in the cart and scan myself (price check on the kiosks). The manager approved both 1 cent items and I got LUCKY. Maybe he was just ready to go home as the store was conducting inventory....

Different HD's have different policies, just like you can find different stock and different prices at each one. Some take competitor coupons, some don't. Some donate, some trash. It's a complex world out there. With all that, I do know that Santa does exist, and he lives in the dark recesses of Home Depot shelves. That's my 1 cent on the subject, here's Home Depot's:
The tag for the toilet wasn't posted-it was sitting on a desk in a stack of other clearance tags-I've found some good deals that way. Only one toilet left waaay up on a back rack-took a while to find it. Cashier told me to take it, so no receipt. Rep on the fart fan and thanks to Pulse5455 for that one. I found the 13W pin cfl bulbs for the light on clearance for .77, sku is 326-610. You can see both of these on the receipt. New cashier at self-checkout and she just rang the fan/light up. Off the find the Easter Bunny....:lmao:

Actually, if an item rings up at a penny they still do not have to sell it to you, even in MA. They cannot, however, charge you more than that for it. If it rings up as a penny it is supposed to be taken off of the floor, either to be returned to the seller or destroyed. This happened a lot when I worked retail, and I watched many associates get fired for selling items at this price.

I've noticed that a lot of stores will cross out the original UPC and put a random generic sticker on the $0.01 to show something like $5. Significant discount usually, but still not $0.01 like they should be.

On my third store last week, I'd have to agree. The first two stores I camped in comparatively had a ton of surprise clearance, the last store, not even one penny deal. Older clearance items had barely budged from the price on the tag. Several decent finds but nothing amazing....
What I did find was lots of green tagged merchandise that was marked "slow moving" and only carried a 10-30% discount. My best guess is whenever an item hit a certain clearance price, management pulled it and judged the lowest price that they could still sell it at....just a guess though....

All penny deals and super discounts I found had dates of 8 months or older (only applied to 2 out of 3 stores though)...
Home Depot has changed its clearance reduction policy. It now goes this way.
A clearance item will end in .06 when it has 6 weeks left until going to a penny. This indicates to the employee that they have 6 weeks to sell through.
A clearance item will end in .03 when it has 3 weeks left until going to a penny.
This should help.
This is new and won't be indicated on older tags, just those printed recently.

I don't get it either, I tried tonight... Grabbed all the yellow sticker sinks I could see (one of each) self checkout wasn't working and prompted a CSR to come over, who then pushged my cart to her checkout and rang me up. Everything rang up full price and I felt dumb to tell her oh Im sorry I decided I don't want it all... so now tommorow I have $750 in sinks to return!
Dude.... I say this with the best of intentions but, grow a pair. You should've stopped her right away. Your a slickdealer now. We'll buy just about anything but not cuz we're embarassed to say"oh I was just checking prices".
Don't worry, you'll feel much better after you return everything.
Then go get 100 yellow tagged items and make that nice blue haired old lady price check em all!!! LOL

ban26ana, you want to resell some of those to me? I'm in North Jersey and can't seem to find these deals, I still don't understand how you find these. Do you just price check every item with a yellow tag?
Most (not all) of the yellow tags have a date on them. If it's more than 8 mos old try a price check. Although my personal experience is more like 10 mos old for the .01 items YMMV like all clearance.

Why didn't you just tell her, with a straight face, that you thought your cart full of faucets wouldn't cost more than 10 cents total?
And do you think she'd let you out of the store if the cart full of faucets was 10 cents?
Just trying to be realistic here.
Great additions posted here. Gotta go check this out for myself, what a great excuse to upgrade the kitchen!

Husky Quick Attach Ladder Stabilizer
SKU 200-828 or maybe 200-823, tag is damaged.
Only one on the shelf, looked lonely (and dusty) among the ladder accessories. So I self scanned for the fun of it and guess what?
Won't do much good with the folding six foot ladder I bought, but it was fun to get. And I like the Ikea comment above. 10 points!

Yellow sticker dated 6/22/09 lower left corner box and 10/20 above the UPC priced from $119.00 to $62.00
White sticker dated 6/22/09 lower left corner and 1/27 above the UPC from priced $98.00 to $31.00
Sales price 3/3 $0.01 with NLP savings of $30.99
Appears the right place to check the date is on the right side of the tag just above the UPC and item number code.
So the date you should be looking at on the sticker in the photo above this date is barely visible between the 243-390 and the "was" price.

If you've got some employee watching the self-checkouts like that and are unfamiliar with how to pricecheck on them, take up a normal type item and learn how to do it... then you can watch to see when it gets busy and check the suspected .01 item.

Here is my story, I decided to try this out for the first time tonight. Here are my findings. Tried first a price check on the yellow tag faucet with date 7/9/09, still an old high price. Went back and dug deeper and found a faucet with 6/22/09, price check =.01. Jackpot, nervously bagged it and ran.
So, it appears the .01 cent price is 8+ month as 7/9 didn't work but 6/22 did.
I will go back again on Monday and try the 7/9 faucet, on Monday it will be 8 months 1 day so I will report back if the item is still there again.

If I still worked at Home Depot I could fill you guys in on some things. I actually walked out of the place with tens of $0.01 items when I worked there especially when they'd fill garbage cans of the penny merchandise and lay it in the freight room in the rear of the store. It was easy to snatch them and place them somewhere else and then buy them the next day.

Im like no thats okay i got it, i just need to check a few prices, but noo he wouldnt stop nagging me to do it, so i went ahead to him and everything rang up regular price. I took all the stuff back then went back with some more stuff, and sure enough he was there and nagging at me again, and of course he didnt bother or help any of the other people around me who all checked themselfs out. So everything rang up regular price again, and then i took it back, and went to check out again with just some clearance tiles that were decent price, and gave up on the .01 cent thing for now. I realized i was thirsty after i rang up the bill, and said damn i shoulda got a soda, and he said go ahead, its on me! So i got a free soda LOL

You are talking out of your butt. HD may send some items back to the vendor, but not all. And not just because the vendor is bankrupt. Some they donate - I've seen the items at the Habit for Humanity Store with the Home Depot stickers still on them. Kudos to Home Depot for those donations! I think that they throw some out based on credible reports on this and other forums. Shame on Home Depot for that. Some they sell for a penny. Thank you, Home Depot, for that! I've bought hundreds of items for a penny. I didn't get a refrigerator, but I did get a Dewalt 16ga nailer that was originally $169. (long gone deal, so don't ask for the SKU)
I don't have inside knowledge, just personal experience and knowledge gained from credible posters here. Posters who post their actual experience, not those like you who post mis-statements as fact without any information to back it up.
Yes, the penny deals have gotten much harder to find lately, at least in my area. It is a perfectly rational decision to not spend the time looking for long shots. But don't piss down my leg and tell me its raining - lots of these deals are real, just hard to find.
