Would someone please tell me why the freebies are not listed in chronological order? Thanks

I think its because they are listed by the date of a last reply??

They are listed chronologically by the last post...look all the way to the left and you will see the name of the most recent poster as well as the time it was posted! If you look at the top before you scroll down it will say last post!

The two posters above me are 100% correct. If you want to view by thread started (on any forum), just click the "thread started" button

For example, a typical forum looks like:

Click on "thread started" (emphasis added)and it will appear in order that the thread started, starting with the latest first.

BTW, you should also note that you can sort by other means as well. You can sort by:
thread date (shown above)
thread starter alphabetically,
thread alphabetically,
by the number of replies,
the number of people who viewed it,
or by last post.

Just like you clicked "thread started" and got the post sorted in order, you can do the same for all the others at that blue bar on the forums pages.

Also note that after you do sort the page, for example by thread started, a blue triangle will appear next to the word "thread started" that you just clicked. If you click on that blue square with the symbol ˇ in the middle of the blue square, it will sort the page by thread started first, going back to 2003 (in other words, in reverse chronological order sticking with our previous discussion). Of course, most of those deals will be expired, but you do have that option.

If you wanted to sort by thread starter and the person's name began with the letter Z, well, this would be good to have, although that is very unlikely.
