hi-

i've enjoyed many of the new functionalities that the "new look" of slickdeals has introduced, but my biggest issue still remains the size of the fonts / symbols / icons in the forums.

rather than forcing everyone to adjust settings within their browsers (within the "advanced settings" tabs), wouldn't it be easier to simply have this site display everything in a smaller font?

i've currently set my browser (internet explorer's) to the "smallest" text size, but these words are still screaming at me because they're so large. plus, in between posts, the bars and tool buttons (like edit, modify, etc.) just seem like they're taking up a lot of space. in the prior version, these "buttons" were mere underlined words, that didn't take up too much space. thus, navigating through a thread involved more reading, and less scrolling...

i can set my browser to ignore the font / font size of the sites i visit, but then i find myself switching that setting whenever i navigate to other sites. any chance this forum will have some of its features revert back to the pre-3/31 state?

always in search of more content, with as little whistles & bells...

The fonts are set at 10pt. The size is fixed thats why you can't resize it with the IE's Text Size option. I just changed the font size to 90% which I hope is a good size for everyone.

As for the icons/buttons, I can resize them.
