So I broke my nose on the stupid Trampoline! And deviated my septum and got a concussion. I am all kinds of farked up anyways I have to get surgery (tomorrow). Its closed reduction surgery and I think it going to suck. Anyone been though this before? I need some input on what to expect from this....Please I'm a little

You'll definitely need plastic surgery. Maybe you should post pics of your nose. :look:

Surgery for a deviated septum is very common and pretty easy. I don't know the specifics but you may want to look at wikipedia and see. Plus side is that if you snored before you won't now. Have you ever had surgery before where you have been put under?

Glad you can look at it that way. Trampolines are dangerous but it is kinda amusing that one farked you up so bad. Don't tell the ladies this story though. You fought a bear. A Kodiak bear that was trying to harm an orphan. A Kodiak bear with steel reinforced claws and laser eyes that was trying to harm a whole orphanage.

Not the same. Are they going to be giving you anesthesia? It isn't the same as nitrous oxide. If they are and you are curious as to how that works, PM me and I can explain it to you. But you are going to be just fine OP. No biggie.

I had my septum straightened...not a big deal after the first couple of days.
The worst part for me was I couldn't take a shower to wash my hair for a few days and couldn't lean my head forward to do so under the tub faucet so I had to lay back into it...that was annoying.
That was about 13 years ago so I don't know if follow up is still the same.

They removed a polyp from one sinus when they did the straightening. My nose didn't look crooked but it caused all kinds of sinus issues. Straightening helped a lot.
Sorry about the tramp beating you up. :evillaf:

I have changed the above story. My apologies. I don't know why I assumed. I actually looked at your photo (didn't see it until after I posted) and thought "that dude looks like a girl."

No experience with a broken nose here. Not even a bloody nose ever. But are they going to make your nose like it was before, or do you have some alterations planned? I would think if you didnt like your nose before, now may be a good time to do something about it.
I would expect at least a week of pretty intense black and blue, as well as swelling. Probably some drainage of fluid, as well as some pain depending on the drugs of course. Is a plastic surgeon doing the surgery or an ENT guy?
Anyway, good luck to you, and I hope all goes well and you have a speedy recovery. Oh, and you may want to stay off the trampoline for a little bit.

It is an ENT guy. I think its just getting put back the way it was and I am ok with that. Besides insurance wont pay for it to be altered. I already have black and blue eyes so it can't get much worse
