Everytime there is a dell/OD/staples/OM deal, you always have someone who starts requesting coupons in that thread and it just escalates until its uncontrolable.
I would like to suggest that a something is inserted automatically into the first post of each page saying "Requesting or asking to trade for a coupon in this thread will cause an automatic suspension in your account for 12 hrs"
Something to that effect, its seriously rediculous. You have 1 page of people talking about a deal and 30 pages of people whinning for coupons.

I'm thinking the coupon subforum should only be for posting a coupon you have to offer. If anyone wants it, they PM the offering party.
This provides an incentive to update the thread when it's gone so the offering party doesn't keep getting PMs.
Delete all "begging" posts that ask for coupons in general.
The exception to PM for coupon would be posting a coupon deal that is reusable or lasts a certain time limit. Then simply state it's reusable and no PMs please.

This gets rid of useless information like asking "what's the code" or "does anyone have a code" when they could read the OP's post for the code.
Also, a new thread should be made for every code. This will get rid of bumping old threads with codes that are invalid and putting new ones in, (as well as posts with "does anyone have a code")
This will definitely clear this forum up and make people want to go in there to use these codes

Are you guys referring to the Coupon stickies, or the whole forum?

Technically:
Slickdeals.net is a forum
Coupons is a subforum.
Any area of a subforum is still, nominally, a subforum as well.
Using the term 'area' at least makes a distinction between a second tier subforum and a third or deeper level subforum.
You have subforum areas that are stickied for Dell, Staples, etc. these can remain but the whole subforum should operate under the idea that people post coupons - not beg for them.
Hot Deals works because people post the details not because people post threads ASKING for a Hot Deal on an item.
No purpose, other than chaos and entropy, is served by cluttering up threads with 70 requests for a coupon that the OP has clearly stated is one time use only.

There IS a "Help me find a deal section."
I see nothing wrong with asking for a coupon. If I have a Hot Deal, I'll post it, because it may benefit many people. I'm not going to post a single-use coupon that affects only one person, but I will respond to someone's request for that coupon.
