Any chance of getting a little more room for avatars? Damn I found a cool one I'm dying to use... but it won't fit!! :eek:

Yeah I wish we had a bit more room too. My avatar was actually around 130kb but I had to cut out a lot of her motion in order to fit it under 20kb. If I remember when I go home I'll post the original uncut avatar as an attachment so you can see the girl in my avatar shake her "culo" even more.

Well as promised here's the full version of my dancing girl. I lied....it's not 130kb it's around 80 or so...I just couldn't remember the size from work. I wish I could keep it in it's original format as there's a lot more movement. Come on Lux make an exception for me and somehow tweak the system to allow me to use this great avatar I've attached.

yea i had a few that i wanted to use that when i shrunk them down to 66x66 they just didnt do it for me. Then I had one or 2 animated ones that were larger than 20, more around 150-200...

ya....i have a nice "goonies" one...but alas, too big!

i found a new one. i coulent shrink it to the pixel requirements. stupid xp dosent have the microsoft photo editor

Um, any ideas as to how much more storage space the servers would require to make that change???
a 20Kb Avitar to a 100Kb Avitar is 5x the size alone, now multiply that by all the users wanting an avitar!!
