I have some friends getting married soon. For some reason, they like Neil Diamond. Any suggestions for a Neil Diamond-themed wedding gift?

well in that case, just pay the guy to show up at the wedding! maybe perform a little bit depending on his asking price.

He'll probably charge a lot if the wedding is outside of America. But I'm a Believer that we'll be able to work something out.

Sweet! Carolina can come with me too.

Act like a man, will you?Never. In fact, that's the Last Thing on My Mind.

I'd like to say "great minds think alike," but I'm not convinced that's appropriate in this case.

 Did you just seriously MA a spoof since yours was first? Since when did the lounge become serious?

Red, red wine always works as a wedding gift - especially if the wedding party is held at night. But if that does not work as a present, don't turn around and run, join the wedding party and introduce yourself with hello again and tell the bride that you are believer in second chances and, despite being a solitary man, try a Longfellow serenade.

That is just really, REALLY weird (in my opinion.) Whatever. Spoofs are serious business to some people I guess.

You must not have been around when spoofs first became popular and we would get 10 to 20 spoofs of the same thread which quickly became very annoying and most weren't even funny. That was when it became a rule that there could only be one spoof of any given thread.

I was around when that happened. I've just never seen someone take their spoof so serious by mentioning it was a repost and bumping their own thread. Just seemed weird, in my opinion.

Somebody would get pissed about all the spoofs and make a :ranting: thread and that thread would get spoofed so many times that the original complaint about the spoofs would get lost.
