I made a post with a different username today that I didn't think broke the rules, but one of the mods seems to have. That was my first infraction and yet instead of just getting a warning point or being told "don't do that" I get perminatly banned?

Is this normal policy? Or did I just get unlucky with a mod in a bad mood?

your post was asking people to pm you for a referral for sunrocket. being a new user and already soliciting people for referrals, instead of a normal warning, you get a one post wonder warning. any one with <10 posts who posts about referrals are immediatly banned.
