mainly for the hot deals sections. i'm not sure how useful the sticky sales ads are but since they are there, there are anywhere from 4-6 sticky threads on the front page of the hot deals section. add threads that have some controversy which are always on the front page, there are a lot less room for new deals. i have a strong feeling many people don't bother reading past the first page so good deals that are posted can easily get lost with a few posts in older threads. maybe its just me.


edit i really think its me. maybe i need to go to sleep. i was just trying to count how many threads were new deal posts and its quite large. so pretty much nevermind unless someone else agrees.

What I've noticed is that if you check the Hot Deals section at least daily, all the new deals posted will usually appear on the front page, meaning new Hot Deals usually max out at about 30 a day (around the number of threads the first page can hold). It doesn't seem to be a real problem right now for me. But later on when we have more members and possibly more new deals per day, having the option of including more threads per page wouldn't be such a bad idea.

I agree. I think we should have more threads and posts per page.

In your user options you can change it to show up to 40 threads per page.
