I would love to see two buttons on the OP of a deal thread. One for "Deal Working" and one for "Deal not working". When these were clicked, the bot, which would have a post right under the OP would ammend its post and add that user to a list of either "Deal working" or not working. This way replies will only be to add useful information, and users will have to wade through much less to find the pertinent parts. Its a bit of coding but its very much worth it.

Just look at the thread title, and it will say "Dead". If it doesn't, it's still working. IMHO, that's the best and easiest way.

are you asking for a way for users to vote that a deal is dead, and if it is its auto moved to deal talk?

How about just having a button next to the OP's post that says "Report Dead Link"

Downside is to the lower-IQ people who dont follow the directions (Example: Staples supplies, enter Item# instead of searching for it) may deem an excellent SD to the Deal Talk forum, even though it works :shake:
