I just found out I am getting a free Norelco razor and wanted to share the info. Everything is totally free and they send free things out often.
EXPO (EXPOTv.com) has two sampling programs for their membership right now. Membership is free and if you apply and are selected you get to try and review the products for free. They call it Tryology. One program is with Philips Norelco for one of the $199 razors. The other is with Gillette Fusion ProGlide for a razor and some shave gel. Check out the details at http://www.expotv.com. It’s easy to apply. All you have to do is sign up and take the screener, it took me like, 3 minutes. It also looks like they are kicking off a new program with Secret soon for a brand new product.

I have an old friend who occasionally falls off the 'shroom wagon and comes by my house to sleep off the tail end of his bad trip. I usually lock him up in the old autopsy room in the basement. If I get chosen for this, I'll just prop him up and shave him while I film it. :D

My concern is that I really prefer not to have my own face in the video, for security reasons. So I thought about shaving him instead. I first thought it would be amusing to shave his genitals, but then realized that's more familiarity than I care for and probably more than this company cares to see.

I could shave my own genitals for the video, but they wouldn't fit into the video camera lens, even at a wide angle or panorama view. :whistlin:

JSinger - they require that you show your face. I once did a video on my Swiffer WetJet showing the WetJet and me mopping with it and it was rejected with the reason being that they require the video shows your face. I had to redo it. Just wanted to let you know so you don't do a bunch of videos and have them rejected. They also require them to be a minimum of 1 minute or longer.

Are the screeners sent via the company or is there a spot to go to and fill them out. I checked outt he Tryology but I do not see any spots to fill out screeners. Thanks for the heads up OP!

The private parts filming stuff was just a joke. I wouldn't really video tape my "stuff" or anybody else's! ( Well, at least not for that kind of free gift. Not for just a free razor and some points. A free car, maybe, and I'd consider it.) :lmao:

As for it being my face in the video, guess I should take a photo of him to use as my profile picture for the site. He won't mind, anyway. He doesn't even know what month it is, much less what goes on in the online world ( or the real world either, for that matter.) I've propped him up before using various means and taken videos of him just to show him later how pathetic he is when he's high on something or coming off something. Once upon a time, he was a very successful stock analyst, owned a 2 million dollar condo and a huge portfolio, so the difference between what he was and what he now is, is both amazing and kind of creepy.

If I prop him up sitting in an office chair that's height adjustable, roll him in front of the bathroom sink, tie him to the chair, tape his eyelids open, ( maybe glue would work better? J/K ) shave him gently, and stay out of the video and keep his arms out of it, all should go okay. I can do voice over for it later. :bounce:

And before you say I'm being mean, just remember nobody else ever takes him in when he gets like this, and keeps him safe and warm, well fed, showered, and cleans up behind him. :yuk:

So.....a little shave never hurt anybody and neither did a harmless home video. ;)

Heads up to those that applied for the Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D Electric Razor. I just received an email that I'm in and will be shipped out next week. Congrats to those that got in!

I reviewed the Superbowl commercial, it got accepted, and now I am in for the Norelco tryology. Thanks OP for turning me onto this opportunity. I am going to start reviewing some other stuff this weekend. Does anyone know if we are keeping this razor or do we have to send it back?

Yeah would be nice, it looks like a good razor. The last razor I got was actually one of the discounted ones from Bzzagent. I like it a lot still but I am assuming this one will be better. Congrats on getting in.

I was chosen, too, and just sent an email asking them to confirm if we got to keep the razor or not. Not much interested and will probably decline to participate myself if we have to send it back.

I got an e-mail saying I was in, too. I logged in and it was full!

If anyone has trouble with the size of the videos, which I did. You can download Super and it will shrink the file down. I went from 250MB file to 34MB after Super.

I'm in as well, uploaded my first video and it was approved they sent me a reply to my message saying that I should have the razor within a week. It's about $250+ and I'm assuming we get to keep it as I've been reading on other websites about their tryology program and everyone gets to keep the items they are sent as long as they complete the assignment and upload a video reviewing the product.

Got my package for the Norelco today via Fedex. Was super excited, but have yet to open it even though I really really need to shave.

Also got mine today, I shaved with it and liked it so far. A lot nicer than my last Norelco. I am looking forward to trying it out with a wet shave.
