First, please read the Repost Rules (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=28760&t=220338). These rules are in full effect!
If you have not been in this area since March, you need to read these rules!

Second, Moderators cannot and will not merge individual posts made outside of any Official/Master thread, into said Official/Master thread. The are to be left on their own. Please don't Mod Alert those posts! It will end up being a waste of typing.

Reposts:
There are 3 different ways to make sure that your post/offer hasn't been posted in the last 6 months.
1) The Global Search (http://forums.slickdeals.net/search.php?) . This search function searches the entire site. Remember to use the * as a wildcard.

2) The Freebies/Magazine Search (http://forums.slickdeals.net/f4-freebies.html?#goto_forumsearch) button. Remember to use the * as a wildcard.

3) The URL Checker. Mr. SlickDeals was nice enough to make a program that checks the URL of each link in a new post, before it's posted. A message will appear:

It is possible that this freebie/deal is a repost. The URL in your post has already been posted in the following Insert Thread Title Here abroad thread. Please verify that your deal is not a repost. If it is not, please submit again.

If you see that warning, please DO NOT ignore it! It's there for a reason.
*Note*The URL checker will only work if there is one website link in the first post. If there is more than one URL, the URL Checker will not scan that post.

__________________________

I know that no one is exempt from this, we have all reposted an offer at one time or another. I have been called on it once before as well. Please try your best to help us keep down on the reposts.

If an offer/freebie has been posted recently & a repost is made (with in the same day, or next to eachother in the forum) more than likely the repost will be removed. This doesn't mean, bump an 6 month+ old post in order to "show up" a new post. The old post will be closed & the new post will remain.

For all other rules, please see the Freebie Forum Rules (http://forums.slickdeals.net/t76737.html?).

That happens at times. Just close the SD screen, and try it again.
