How about a Tombstone when a thread gets killed. People will look for a thread and can't find it.

When a Mod kills a thread could a tombstone be left with maybe a reason why it got dusted?

I agree....last night's death of oni's thread kind of upset me when I couldn't find it anywhere this morning.......*poof* without any reason why.......

Yeah, most sites at least have a "this thread has been deleted by an administrator" message. It gives you some sort of feeling of sanity.
