Lately a lot of the links here don't work in either Opera9 or IE7.(haven't tried other browsers). It's not every link.
heres an example-every link on this page comes up blank-no message of any kind http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=272821

I use FireFox and I have no issues with that page at all. Also shows up fine in Opera9 for me. an IE6.
Have you tried clearing cache, cookies, temp files, etc?

It was my hosts file.I started using a program called Hostsman that you can use to enable or disable the hoststfile.Evidently when this first started happening I checked that it was disabled but had an operator error.I thought I had verified this wasn't the cause but I guess I was in a hurry and messed up.
Thanks for pointing me back in the right direction Aluvus.Green given for your help.
Edit-Looks like you can't give green in this forum. However you can go to sleep tonight knowing that you have made the world a better place in a small way:vomit:

So basically the site is only going to work if you allow data mining sites? ...
Guess I'll be looking elsewhere for the most part :(

The site is partially supported by money from referrals, as are many such sites. You can simply manually remove the leading part of the URL if you like. I do that for eBay links, because I blocked one of their servers.
