I it also depends on how long you've been here. My guess, 1 or 2.

Doesn't matter if you turn bold. I believe you gain another one after 500 reps. Based on time and post count, you still should give out one.

10-499 reps = 1 rep (If your reps are not gray)
500-999 reps = 2 reps
1000-1499 reps = 3 reps
1500+ reps = 4 reps


*Of course the number of posts and the amount of time you have been here can also increase your repping power (and yes, all these factors for reps are stackable )

For example, if you have been here two years and have between 500-999 reps, your reps count as 4

As a subquestion...is the fact that you start slickdeals with a rep of 10 a relic from the days of negative repping?
