I checked out their website but I'm not entirely sure how to find out if my local theaters take them or not. I did notice a few movies said "no passes" next to them though so I assume that refers to these types of codes although I could be wrong.

(1) Fandango codes can be used on any admission that can be purchased with a credit card through their site.
(2) "No passes" typically refer to gift certificates that say something like "Super Saver" or "Value Pass", which are the cheapest kind you can buy and therefore are usually not valid on certain movies. Fandango codes can be used on any movie, regardless of whether or not it says "No passes".
