You should check your code with fandango, to see when it really expires. I received my code yesterday and the email stated it expired 8/28 when it really expires tom 7/31.

sure...buy a ticket for a r rated movie playin at the same time as the movie that u want to see. go to the theater hand them your ticket for the r rated movie and then go see the movie that u want to see.

Im not trying to trade this for anything, or get anything from this. Actually just figured there had to be a way these people were getting the fandango codes.

Heres what you do: go to this url: http://stridingman.johnniewalker.com/en-us/?reknown=true

Click on register. If your leagally over 21, with in a couple days or two weeks, they will send you fandango movie codes as a reward for signing up.

Now here is how you get pleanty of codes. Private message me your email address, and ill send you a gamil invite. Create a gmail acount through that link. should give you 25 new invites you can send, whith each of those giving you 25 i think. But anyways, create a couple different accounts. I personally wouldn't try more then lets say three for your current address. If you have family near you too, wouldnt use but maybe two to thier addresses.

Anyways. Keep going to that link. register, then once thats complete, log out. and rinse, repeat. With in a week or two you should have some movie ticket codes sent in your new emails you created. Go to fandango, create an account there. keep up to date on the movies. Not sure if you enter codes there to bank points ect. just make an acount so you know what playing i guess.

Ok, so why did i post this? First, I couldn't find info on how to get these codes in this thread, so i surfed the net until I figured it out. Second, I don't think its right that people are selling these codes ect, when they recieved it for free. Then keeping it a secret it seems, from the people wanting to see these shows. Why should anyone pay 5 bucks to see a FREE movie. The code holder got it for free, so Just my oppinion, but doesnt seem to me that that would entitle them to money for it.

Pretty sure if you looked through the rules and faqs long enough too, there would be something stating that the resale of codes is strictly forbidden, and in fact illeagal because your selling someone elses intellectual property.

Well, I could be way off here, since I do need sleep badly, but i figured i would see if this helps anyone, and hopefully will get some of you a free movie or two. lol

I went to see 'The Departed' over the weekend. I passed the print-outs thru the window and the kid asks me for my credit card. I told him the tickets were free & I didn't pay with a credit card. He still wanted it, so I gave it to him. He swiped it and of course, nothing happened. Then I had to wait for him to get the manager to tell him to type in the code. What a genius :lmao: Boy, did this kid type slow...and he seemed to get slower after each ticket. I can't complain though...3 free tickets and a pretty damn good movie.

I asked this weekend why they always ask for my CC when I use a fandango code. they said it just makes it quicker for them when the ticket is bought by a CC. All they have to do is swipe your card and all the info shows up on the computer and BAM the ticket prints out. Thats why the ticket you print out at home accually says " We advise you bring this conformation to theaters" it does not say you have to take the print-out to the theater to get the ticket. You do need the print out to get your ticket when you buy from a code and they have to type the number in everytime. They should all know that at the theater. The thing I think that sucks is that the ticket you print out at home should be your ticket, but no , you have to trade it at the ticket counter for a real ticket. And they ask for your CC for the reason I just explained. What a waste of time. I might as well wait till i get to the theater and buy tickets with my CC then. The only time is is time and cost effective is when there is a line for the movie that is sold out every night. There hasn't been a movie like that in along time.
