The Purina® 2011 Petcentric Photo Contest consists of three monthly contests (each a "Contest") which start at 12:00:01 p.m. Central Time ("CT") on the first day of each Contest Period and end at 11:59:59 a.m. CT on the last day of each Contest Period. The dates, themes and assignments for each Contest Period are:
Contest Period Theme Assignment
March 31 - April 29, 2011 Spring into Action Is the change of the season bringing out the most active side of your pet? Aerodynamic dogs taking flight for flying discs, acrobatic cats pouncing from perches - capture your pet in action for this month's contest.
April 29 - May 31, 2011 Funny Face Oh, the expressions your pet shows! Catch your pet making a silly or funny face and share it for an opportunity to win some great prizes.
May 31 - June 30, 2011 Working like a dog (or cat) Celebrate Take Your Pet to Work Week by snapping your dog doing his dogged best at the office (or your cat sneaking in a catnap at your home computer.
VOTING/JUDGING: During each Contest Period, entries will be posted on the Website and the Petcentric Photo Contest application on Facebook and Petcentric.com members and fans of the Petcentric page on Facebook will be able to vote for their favorite entry in each category (dog and cat). Limit one vote per person per photo, per Contest Period.
PRIZES:
For Contest Period ending in:
April: Two First Prizes (one dog winner and one cat winner): One (1) Apple® 16 GB iPad® with Wi-Fi mobile digital device and case. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $540.00 each.
May: Two First Prizes (one dog winner and one cat winner): One (1) Garmin® GPS Navigation System (nuvi 1300T GPS) and One (1) Flip™ HD Video Camera. Prize package ARV: $415.00 each.
June: Two First Prizes (one dog winner and one cat winner): One (1) $500.00 Amazon.com Gift Card.
