It should work, but not all BB's honor this rule of 3 per platform. They say some bs stuff at times, so doing multiple trade ins of the same game is a YMMV

Even if you're not buying anything in particular right now, I don't see the harm in buying these and trading them in for a future purchase. I typically don't like shopping at BB as their prices are pretty steep on a daily basis, but they have some decent sales from time to time, and if you're a gamer new games typically cost the same no matter where you go (BB also has some decent pre-order GC deals from time to time).

I would print out their website saying that they'll accept three copies of each game. Then, I wouldn't purchase more than I could feasibly trade in (i.e., worst case scenario: they only take one, then just go to three different Best Buys).

Not at all. One of my Star Wars got rejected just for missing the manual. Good thing a different GS had an extra one.

I just did this, but I traded in 24 games total. Bought every game on their $50 trade-in list that was below $26.99

Ended up paying $380ish at gamestop, and got $600 dollars in prepaid visa gift cards that I turned in to liquid using SquareUP :)
bestbuy allowed you to buy prepaid visa gift card with bestbuy store gift card??? I bet the sales associate who did this didn't know the rules. I've always tried this at other stores but always got rejected.

You could try using Star Wars The Force Unleashed II for Wii as well. It's listed for $17.99 online (http://www.gamestop.com/wii/games/star-wars-the-force-unleashed-ii/76714) (same price as New Vegas), and would add some variety so people are questioning you. I'm guessing if it's listed online for that price and doesn't say "online only" that it would be applicable in stores as well.

Think that might be the only other one.

There's six THOUSAND total Gamestop locations and many people have 2-3 or MORE within close driving distance of each other due to corporate's acquisition of various chains and merger with EB Games. So driving for 5-10 minutes to get six copies of a particular game isn't really THAT hard.
That is a lot of work, but some good thinkin' there. :thumbup:
As I said above, with so many US locations for Gamestop it should be a breeze to find six copies of the game in decent enough shape to trade into Best Buy.

Unfortunately since many people hoarded and traded the crap out of the 360 version that one has dropped in trade value to $9 a copy now.:lmao:

Although just going by the amount of negative Nancies in the first page of this thread alone I'm guessing that the SD effect was NOT what caused the drop.
just tried to do this deal. found one Fallout Vegas and 5 MOH and a Star Wars force II(wii) + membership rewards program(includes 1 yr sub to Game Informer) for $142.

went to BB and got $175 AMAZON gift certificate.

Moreover, they screwed you over, since there is a B2G1 sale going on for pre-owned games this weekend at Gamestop. Unless you bought NEW copies of each of those games you really got hosed. Although you still would've hosed yourself by buying SEVEN games instead of SIX during the B2G1.

this is what i did:
- went to two different gamestop (got 3 xbox at one and 3 ps3 at another), no questions asked
- went to first BB - exchanged 1 xbox game for GC
- went to second BB - exchanged 2 xbox games for GC
- went to third BB - exchanged 2 ps3 games for GC
- went to fourth BB - exchanged 1 ps3 game for GC
total $150 in GC :)

If you had any brains at all, you would realize that I was trying my best not to get them suspicious about same game tradein's and kill the deal faster for the rest of the SD's. no wonder you can't figure out why you are more stupider than the rest of us lol and i bet jackasses like you are the reason why deals get killed earlier for the rest of us.

first BB i went to did the same, i just went to another one and they didn't care, i'm lucky to have lottttt of BBs & GSs within 20 miles of my house :)
another bitch at the counter was anal about a tiny scratch on the disc, i simply took it to a different BB and got out without any hassle.
