Pretty good game. I'd say its worth it. Multiplayer isn't everyone's style though. My buddies and I enjoy it but its easy to see why people get pissed off.

I got it for the single player so I"m happy. I got my 360 copy from walmart on launch w/$20GC.

I've been playing it on PC...zero crashes and zero issues on Windows 7...so far...about 5-10 hours in? I'm old and slow...gimme a break...I'm sure some people can beat it in 5-10 hours :lol:

The multiplayer experience for pc is frustrating and disappointing. The hit detection is horrendous, people can just spray and prey and you'd get headshotted. Other times, you stand right behind someone and empty a whole clip, and they don't die. Then they fire 2 shots and you're dead.

There are multiple (Recruit, Soldier, Veteran, and Supersoldier). In addition you can lower the difficulty at any time.

That's how the game is designed. You can't spam your suit powers or you will die easily. That's what makes the game fun, it has more strategy than your typical FPS.

Spray and pray will always exist in FPS. Again...not a problem because every FPS has it's BS moments.

I never said anything negative about the suit powers, so I agree with you on the suit adding a nice element to the game. However, your post did not address anything I said about the hit detection. Spraying and getting kills is one thing that all fps' have, but when you have a much higher probability of racking up kills by spraying rather than aiming and bursting, something is really wrong.

apparently the date/time is connected to game's server time not the ps3's time...I think this was Crytek's cheap strategy to keep players from quickly reselling the game

Yeah on the PC it lets you adjust the difficulty. I think it was on the fly too, so you can change it at anytime.

It's an okay game. Dumbed down version of Crysis with worse graphics and a more set path for missions. Disappointing when compared to Crysis, but still a fun game to play. Probably worth playing for this price or lower.

This game is going to be an EA Insider Deal this week, so it may be a bit cheaper even. You like their Facebook page and you get an alert about the deal when it comes up.

I totally agree but I think even at $30 dollars is pretty steep for a broken game. Already at patch v1.2 and they still haven't fixed the melee bug and disappearing nano points.

What's up with dumbing down PC sequels lately? Mass effect, Dragon Age, this, and i don't know what else(i'm not a huge gamer), all have been dumbed down in some way.

the suit power will drain instantly, reloads sometimes don't work, switching weapons is 5x slower... and some other little weird crap.

that's exactly why I refuse to buy this game until it hits the 9.99 price point. Loved the first one (played for over 2 years) and was very dissapointed to see what they did with the sequel. Looks like i'll be playing bad company 2 until BF3 comes out.

For pc , when its at $20 .... then mabe I'll "think" about getting it ; do the "console'ish crap this game has become .
