I am not sure if this would be a good thing. I hope no one misunderstands what I am saying. I think slickdeals site could be better. Forums posts are great but how about something like this: Link (http://labs.digg.com/swarm/?popular) or this: Link (http://digg.com/spy)

By the way I am all about this site being unpopular. I almost wish there was a limit on members. If you are not a member you get to see nothing. If you are a member you get to see everything and also invite people in when there are spaces available.

Yes the title says it all.

The second link shows Real time update. No more hitting refresh. I guess that would be nice for those of us that use slickdeals like crack. Realtime updates within threads would be awesome too. Imagine opening up a thread and watching posts just appear as they are entered by users. And the first link shows how you could see what is being discussed or what is popular which is probably less important because of your rating system.

I don't like sites that automatically update. You're looking at the page, reading titles, and wham, a new thread arrives and all the rest move down and you lose your place. Yuck. Too much work to read!
