In the "Hot Deals" section, there are two "stickies" with information on how to get deals and not ruin it for others.

PLEASE post them on all of the other forums as well or maybe put a big link with the info on the main page. I see "deals" dissapear in minutes because with everyone calling, this site has effectively become nothing more than an error-checking service for several of the major retailers. Deals appear and are gone in minutes once the "error" is discovered. Sigh.

Also, put a note - point #4:
If you find a truly great deal and there are only a few left, or it is a tiny company(ie - not a place most people would be aware of)or simmilar, please consider looking through the groups, especially the "Help Me Find a Deal" one to locate a person who is looking for such an item. Then send them the information via personal email. This helps us to find deals for people who want a specific item and come here asking for help.

I'm not quite sure how the aforementioned stickies (re: do not call, etc.) apply to freebies, free magazines, rebates and the "help me find a deal" section.

Also, keep in mind, vendors may catch a price mistake on their own - an overwhelming response to a product listing may be just the indication that a glitch occurred. Price mistakes are, after all, price mistakes and in the event of a mistake honoring the price is often a business decision on part of the vendor.
