A thread I created today was merged with another thread that had been posted a couple of hours earlier. I don't really mind that the threads were merged. But I just wanted to suggest that in the future if the later thread has a more descriptive title, then when the threads are merged, the title should also be modified to reflect the more descriptive title.
Take for example my thread today vs. the thread it was merged with. The earlier posters title was simply, 'SanDisk Cruzer Titanium 1GB Flash $29.99'. Now if I were an SDer looking for a deal on a 2GB or 4GB SanDisk Cruzer, then I wouldn't have even bothered to read this post as it leads people to believe the post was only about a 1GB Cruzer. Where as my post title read, 'SanDisk Cruzers, Good Deals on 1GB, 2GB and 4GB, Plus 10% Off Rebate!' Which means that anyone looking for a 2GB or 4GB would also read the thread. So wouldn't it make more sense when these threads were merged to use the more descriptive title? I just want to allow as many SDers as possible to get in on a good deal for the product they are looking for.
