Tried posting in hot deals, says it took, but it never shows up on the board. Anyone else with this problem?

Yea I tried posting a new thread in freebies, didnt work.

I have the same problem, for 2 days now. I click on submit, it says 'done' at the bottom but all i see is an empty page. One time it happened in the lounge, second time in the freebies.

Does it happen randomly? Do you get a blank page after you click submit?

I tried this one from IE and Firefox, happens after I click submit. Goes to a blank screen and says "done" in the bar on the bottom, which just means done loading the page. Then I check if it is posted and it is not. I try posting again and it says it is a duplicate post.

Anyone someone who can post, post this one please.

I can't post (as mentioned) in ie or firefox from two separate systems. Exactly what everyone else says... says done, then if try to post again, says duplicate post. I had 3 hotdeals yesterday that never got posted (sorry).

Not random, 100% of the time it fails. I have not tried today, but have nothing yet to post and don't want to do a test post in Hotdeals.

Try clearing your temporary internet files, it resets the webpage... it may work!

Um... per above, two browsers, two different computers, 100% of the time and for different people.

Web pages were reset, reloaded, cache cleared, logged out / logged in, that is not the issue.

I was just thinking that maybe certain people logged onto the website at a certain time, loaded a faulty version of the website, and it wasn't reset by loading it. Just my thinking.

I have this problem on both of my computers. I've tried it with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. I had it working once this morning, posted a test message, but when i checked the new posts, it wasn't there (but i said in the post it could be deleted, so maybe one of the mods deleted it seconds after i posted it). If you're the mod who deleted it, please let me know.
I've tried everything, cleared the cache/history/cookies/logout/login, with and without firewall, but nothing seems to help. Any other things I could try?

Same thing just happened to me trying to start a new thread in freebies. As someone else mentioned if you hit reload it says that the thread is a duplicate.

Everything seems to be working ok again... at least for me.

thanks for the info. Did this also effect small posts? cause I tried to post a few small posts and I had the problem. (question of course is, how big is a small post and how big is a large post)
