Everytime I respond in a thread and then hit New Posts, the thread I responded in disappers until someone posts something after me and then it reappers at the top of the new posts list. If I do a search for the post I can find it but it is not visible right after I post in it. This has just started a few days ago.

Edit: I even just had to search to see this thread because it didn't show up for me when I hit New Posts.

I've had some weird things happen to me too. Not quite the same as what you are describing, but weird non the less. What happens to me a lot is after I submit my reply or submit a new thread, I will get an error about not selecting a category or something similar. I then do it again, and then have double posts out there.

I'm hoping 2.0 fixes these things.

Never had anything like that happen. Have you tried posting in site suggestions and problems?

Yes, it's been happening to me as well, and NO, I don't like it. As it was explained to me, threads staying in the user CP after they were read was a bug all this time. They are supposed to disappear as soon as you read or respond to them and not stay in the User CP list for a period of time (about 30 minutes or so as they did for me). I personally liked the 'bug' and having the threads disappear is annoying to me. But, as they said, if you want to see the list of what you subcribed to, you can click on view all subscribed threads.

Here's a link that somewhat explains it:

What? No help from SD tech support? :sadwalk:Thread belongs in Site Issues and Suggestions section, as benjie says. That's where the SD tech support hangs out.

I got it the first time thank you. ;)

I got it the first time thank you. ;)Sorry, I assumed that since the thread was still here 90 minutes after that was suggested, no one had mod alerted it to be moved to the appropriate section.

I have had the same problem. Sometimes I cannot find the post again for a couple of hours.

They should show up right away if you click "View all Subscribed Threads"

Not Mod alerted, just linked him to the right place. So sorry, my mistake -- should have sent this to the appropriate category with mod alert a few hours ago. Just seemed like other users might see it in tech support before they would look otherwise, as Tuffy did.

You know, I'm NOT going to Mod alert it, even now. Many won't look in Site Suggestions and Problems -- I think the issue is better served here in Tech Support. Personal opinion -- someone else can mod alert it if they think it warrants being moved.

That makes bug # 3 since Mr Slickdeals started playing with his Beta.
Oversized IMG files extend post border edges, Diappearing Thread posts, and bad math in Polls.
