You could just buy a .33 cent caramel. Or an .88 cent palmolive. or a .99 2 liter of Pepsi. Or a .99 candy corn that gives you back .99 cents in extrabucks, making it free. Or 4 Skittles/Starbursts for $2, and you get back $1. Or a .77 cent Bumble Bee Tuna. Or the wide assortment of grocery items they have for $1. Or a $1 box of Kleenex. Or a .77 cent shampoo.

And if you're going there to do some cvs deals (like me) then you're already buying something, so free $5 gift pack .

If they were really trying to steal people's money, they would say "a minimum purchase of $x"
